“This is hands-down one of my favorite coffee shops in metro Detroit! What started as a Caribou Coffee chain years ago was saved by a group of No.VI dads who couldn’t bear to lose their go-to coffee spot. They took it over, but let’s be real—running a food business isn’t a walk in the park.

Enter the most incredible couple who bought the place and transformed it into something truly special.

The owner, hailing from Puerto Rico where her family runs a similar business, has poured heart and soul into this spot. It’s now the coziest, most welcoming place you’ll find.

No judgmental hipster baristas here—just a genuinely kind and awesome staff who make you feel right at home. They bring their diverse backgrounds to the table, offering unique treats like Banh Mi sandwiches and Dora-Yaki alongside killer pastries.

Foodie Pro tip: If you spot quesitos or churros, grab them fast—they’re absolutely perfect pastries and sell out quick!

I’m obsessed with their in-house roasted beans, especially the espresso roast that I snag for my at-home brews.

Whether you’re popping in for a quick coffee and pastry or settling in for work or a great convo with a friend, this place is perfect. It’s a true gem that’s worth every visit!“

“Wanted a relaxing place to enjoy a lunch and decided to try since I figured with the quality of merchandise and service in the store, they would be similar. While you order at a counter, you seat yourself and then wait staff takes over. The dining room is quiet and nicely decorated. The wait staff is very professional and there with a refill or checking on you.

While the menu is not large, you can find salads, pizzas, entrees, and appetizers. A couple different kinds of soups also. There is a kid's menu which adults could order from. Since I am not a huge eater, I ordered from it the grilled cheese and cup of tomato soup. I got the cheddar chive biscuits, taking one home. It came with a drink so I got my diet Coke.

All the food was well above average. I really enjoyed the grilled cheese which was on artisan bread. The cheddar chive biscuit was delicious. Fresh fruit was included with the meal. They don't have a dessert menu, but a little chocolate is brought to you at the end of the meal.

If you have a more normal American appetite, you should find your fill. The pizza is large enough to share.

Wonderful place to enjoy a lunch break from shopping especially if you want a meal not fast food in the food court. I will be back to enjoy another meal.“

“I have been coming to this biggby since it opened and have always had a nice experience. The owner is really friendly and remembered my name and drink order from day one. As the years have gone on, I’ve come in a bit less frequently but still always had a nice experience.

Last year, my oldest kiddo started working here. Of course, we started visiting more frequently again. And through that experience I learned how involved Biggby is with the community. For example, did you know that if you visit Biggby during the KVC Youth Entrepreneur Market, you can receive a $5 voucher to spend at the market? Love that! Also, they host really fun social events like Bingo for Valentine’s Day and winner received a month of free Biggby drinks! Cool!

“Shout out to the Sunday morning staff (9/7/2025). I made the wrong mobile order for my daughter. The staff offered to quickly remake it, did not charge us, and even gave my daughter the Steamer I had ordered in error. Really pleasant experience! (And a nice sidenote for you, my daughter loves the steamer, and I can imagine ordering a bunch of those in the future now, too. 😀)“
