“My guy and I came here for our 6th anniversary dinner. It was recommended to us so we gave it a try. OMG were we impressed!!! The food was delicious and our service was fantastic. Everything we ate we couldn’t stop talking about it. From the shrimp crab cake appetizer to the soups to our entrees. He got the New York strip I got the Alaskan king salmon. There was not much left of the plates afterwards. The atmosphere was really awesome. We were so well taken care of. Our server (Sara or Samantha? I’m terrible with names) but she was so sweet and attentive. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back!!! Thanks for a wonderful date night!”

“Loved this place! Outdoor seating with live music. There was a man painting pictures to the sound of the music! Small indoor bar. Cider mill next door with a flowing creek and lots of ducks the kids were feeding. It was a beautiful sunny day!”

“The bowls always look and taste really good. Maybe a little pricey, but I’ll always come back for another. The employees are friendly every time I go there and quickly prepare your order. They also offer free stickers which they occasionally change every month or so.”

“My daughter-in-law brought me here for my first with my granddaughters. The whipped feta appetizer was great! Addictively salty, sweet, and spicy with the perfect bread on the side. The kids menu ice cream sundae was the perfect finish!”

We’ve been enough that I think it warrants a 5 star review now because we’ve always had such a great experience from service, to food quality. We went last week and our server brought us a couple unexpected goodies which was so fun and appreciated. We will definitely be back for great sushi again. :)”

“I ordered for the first time Wednesday, 1-10-24, from the new Waterford location. I got the lamb korma, some Naan, raita, and a mango Lassi (carryout). It took me a good twenty minutes to find the place because there was NO signage! My Lassi was warm and the rice was cold. Luckily the lamb was hot enough to warm the rice. I will definitely order again because the food was so good, but seriously, no sign?!”

“Super loud and echoey, I couldn't even hear the people at my table, but I could hear the guy across the restaurant talking about his wife's bedazzled thong.
The food was ok, I'm not sure why everything was so sweet - I got the Mac and cheese and the bacon was sweet, the BBQ sauce on the meat was sweet, and the coleslaw was sweet. The noodles in the Mac and cheese were overcooked, and there was very little cheese to be found under the top layer.

“We had our wedding shower at Guernsey Restaurant last weekend & could not have asked for a better experience! We had 35 people and the waitresses were on top of everything the entire time. I’m not sure if this was planned or if she just did it, but one of the waitresses was almost entirely dedicated to me as the bride, making sure I was never without a drink, being there for anything that was needed, they were wonderful! The food was amazing and of course the ice cream is the best around, but the service was what made it truly special!”

“I came here with my sister and the boba was pretty good. The vibes were amazing because it is in downtown Northville. Although I will say it is right next to the parking garage so it is lower than other stores. The prices were alright for the size but you do have to add boba to make it boba which costs what the menu says. Overall really nice and recommend.”

“If you’re looking for the spot to watch the Detroit Lions, this is it — and a huge part of that is thanks to Paige behind the bar. We’ve been here several times for games, and she is consistently excellent. Always friendly, attentive, fast with service (even when the bar is packed), and her product knowledge has actually led us to discover some new drink favorites. She pays attention to the little things without ever being overbearing — that’s rare.

The vibe during Lions games is incredible. TVs everywhere — you can catch any game you want from basically any seat. The crowd brings the energy with cheering, noisemakers, and high-fives all around. It feels like a weekly watch party with familiar faces who show up ready to have a blast.

The food? Awesome every time. The chicken & shrimp, power bowl, and nachos are my personal go-tos, but honestly everything we’ve tried has been solid.

If I had to nitpick, there was one game where a podcast setup took over the sound for a bit, which was kinda odd since the Lions were playing — but that seemed like a random one-off promotional thing, and it didn’t ruin the night.

Bottom line: Great food, an electric game-day atmosphere, and a bartender (Paige!) who makes the experience feel like home. If you’re coming to Art & Jake’s Northville for a Lions game — sit by the bar. You’re in good hands. 🦁🍻”

“Been wanting to try out the food here for a while and it didn’t disappoint. We got the cheese curds and they were delicious! I wish there were more in the serving for the price. They came with a nice tasting avocado ranch. I got the chicken avocado wrap sandwich with fries. The sandwich was ok, the fries were delicious! My husband got the beer cheese burger and he said it was good, but a bit on the small side. My son got the bacon Brie burger and he thought it was good. My son and daughter split the French toast and I tried it, it was some of the best tasting French toast I’ve had. We also got ice cream after we ate and all the flavors are super unique. The service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive, could’ve even been the owner. The only thing we didn’t care for was the smokey air inside the restaurant. The cook makes things on the grill right in the open-air restaurant and it didn’t seem like any ventilation systems were on to prevent the yucky smells.”
