Been going to the Whippi Dip for decades. They still have the same great soft serve ice cream. And they pile the soft serve so high that even a small cone comes with nearly a pint of ice cream. If you're in Norton Shores and haven't been, you should try it. Edit 5/23: I don't live within a thousand miles of Whippy Dip anymore, but I won't ever visit Norton Shores without setting aside time to go there.
Every time I visit Grand Haven, I hit up Whippi Dip with family ! It is hands down one of my favorite ice cream places. The vibes just scream summer, with its chocolate drip paint decor across the roof, mini outdoor play park for kids equipped with swings, slides, playground, and hammocks of all colors. There are lots of benches in the grass area behind the store. I cannot say I have tried anything other than ice cream but it always hits the spot! I usually have a waffle cone...read full review
