“First time here, it was surprisingly good. I had no idea what kind of cuisine they served. Got the kimchi box with slice beef. Mildy seasoned with noodles and rice, it was delicious. The atmosphere was nice except I found the chairs uncomfortable, but that’s me. Service was helpful and prompt.“
“This restaurant feels like home to me. I grew up with a Korean mother and grandmother who married my father in the military. I love their food. It's always fresh and traditional. I hope more people come try it. It's slightly more expensive then the average Japanese cuisine place but it's worth it because it's actually Korean. They also carry Cass beer ?. I couldn't be more happy with them and my experience. I've been here 6times now every other Saturday waiting for a mishap, but they always give best quality of service. They also have grilling at the table with a griddle. The meat quality is outstanding and as fresh as it gets.I didn't realize there were so many people upset that this place has a different name then before. I think it has a new owner and it really isn't their fault since they don't speak English and mainly Korean. They're incredibly hard working and it's a shame so many people are inconsiderate to this unknowingly. I will express this to them and try to bring it to their attention since they seem to be unaware of it.I would also like to address that in Korean culture just like in Japanese, they can seem cold or distant but really they're very respectful and just introverted in most cases. Please try to be understanding to another cultures ways and not just their food when exploring outside of our normal realms of culture. Thank you for reading. I hope more people can give this place a chance in the future.“
“Had the opportunity to stop into Chino Loco today for a photo shoot. Owner Scott was incredibly appreciative, helpful, and hands-on with helping to get the best shots with limited space. Chino Loco is now in the remodeled plaza next to Red Dog near downtown Milford. All the food looked amazing! Would definitely recommend.“
“BEST sushi I have ever had in Michigan. I ordered the Dragon Roll and Sunset Roll - both were so fresh & delicious. (The eel sauce & spicy mayo were the perfect duo) I would have posted a photo …but I ate it too fast. The service was amazing and I would 10/10 come back again!“
“Food is a little pricey but very plentiful and good. Server seemed not to understand English well but June stepped in to help and proved to be a breath of fresh air. He was attentive , efficient, friendly and offered good customer service .1/19/2024Came back for a repeat. June was phenomenal, Chris served up a delicious and unique adult concoction that titillated the taste buds and delighted the senses.. Food was plentiful like before, beautiful presentation and was hot. Only suggestion is when serving dishes ordered at the same time, serve them together. Will be back to try something new.“
“Best sushi place and Asian food in Livonia!! My favorite dishes are Salmon Teriyaki, Orange Dragon, Salmon on the Mountain, Bibimbap, Lobster roll, Katsu, and many more. Cute and great local restaurant!! I will always recommend this restaurant, we have been here for years, great every single time.“
“I had just recently tried Kimchi Box out in Sterling Heights and felt I needed to introduce the family to the flavors. I wasn't sure if each location would be as good, but to my surprise, they are. The food was just as good as my previous visit. My family loved the Seoul Chicken sandwiches and the delightful red bean buns. Don't sleep on their potstickers as well, so good.Would recommend.“
“Overall, my experience was 4 out of 5 stars. The atmosphere: 4 stars.Dimly lite, White tablecloth, more higher end ambiance. My only complaint was that the violinist was playing extremely loud. We couldn't really hear each other at our table. I recommend turning the volume down so it becomes more of a background noise that complements the atmosphere versus overpowering it.The food: 4 starsWe had the roasted beets appetizer, the seven hour slow braised short rib, Aqua Fino, Saku Tuna, the sweet Corn Tomato Bisque, and tirmusuThe overall plating was very high-end reto-- a little dated (edible flowers, reduction sauce lines). The sweet Corn Tomato Bisque (soup of the day) was adverage. Very sweet, missing some other flavor components (salt, bitter, sour). The Seven Hour Short Rib was served on top of a baked potato with 3 Asparagus spears. The flavor was slightly above average. The meat itself did not have much of a flavor. The gravy/sauce gave it its flavor, which drowned the plate. The Asparagus just seemed to be dry roasted, no glaze, or seasoning to compliment it. And the baked potato was just that, a baked potato partially cut in half with the short rib on top.The salmon and tuna, I did not have, but my acquaintances said that they were good. The tiramisu was good. I enjoyed it very much. I wouldn't necessarily serve it with the strawberry garnish or the berry dirzzel lines on the side, but overall, it was good. The service: 5 stars. The wait staff were extremely friendly and very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.Overall: 4 out of 5 stars.“
“Update: I have ordered three times in the last 24 hours. I’m officially addicted! I love the taste of my bowls!!! Original post: My bowl was delicious and fresh, but slightly too salty, I think it was because I got three topping sauces. Next time, I will only choose one! But all in all it was a great experience, the employee being the counter was friendly, helpful, and made me feel like my business mattered. I love it! I’m sitting here a few hours later contemplating have it for dinner too! Thank you Ahi Poke and Grill! See you soon!“
“We live 4 hours away and whenever we come downstate, this is our first stop! The 5 pepper chicken is our favorite, but everything is fantastic! It’s a beautiful place and the service is always top notch!! So delicious! We are never disappointed!!“

“I love this place!!!!! if you want some pretty legit casual japanese AND Korean food.... this place is fantastic! the staff/ownership are super nice, the food is real, what more could you ask for? had the takoyaki today and holy moly was that awesome. tempura avacado with honey is delicious. bibimbap in the hot stone bowl is top notch. katsu curry rules. obviously their sushi is well made sushi. but there's so much more to this place than sushi. the wife enjoys the chicken fried rice. I always go in craving sushi and end up getting more. I've been going here since it opened.“
“I came here with my family in April for my mothers birthday, we had an excellent time! They were very accommodating to our reservation, our waitress Sherrell was so kind, personable, and attentive! We truly enjoyed our time, the environment was very welcoming. I strongly recommend this restaurant!“
“Always excellent food and service. We love China Cafe’. I recommend you start the Street Wings and Ahi Tuna wontons, then for dinner you can’t go wrong with Palace Beef, Bangkok Sole, Fire Cracker Shrimp, or Short ribs with Traditional Fried Rice. Great cocktails and wine selections too. Enjoy!!“
