“I just got sides, but the other food looked good. The sides that I ordered were good (mac, greens, and yams). The person that assisted me was pleasant.
The only kinda issue was the place and the price. The store was very warm and muggy, and the price for the size of the sides were a little high in my opinion. But those are usually the places that have good food...js.“

“The food here is great. This was our 1st time here. We were here all the way from Wisconsin for an event and i asked who got the best soul food in town and was told to stop by Cornbread. Amazing food, and service, and the place was clean. The Staff went above the call of duty. Ms. Donya if you see this, you are a JEWEL! This lady was right on time with everything. We visited the restaurant on Friday upon arrival to Michigan and was the first customers on Sunday 11:30AM as we were leaving from Michigan to return home. Go here, you will not be disappointed. The PRICE IS RIGHT.....and the Staff is BRIGHT!“

“Been going here for many years and enjoyed the delicious chicken. However, my most recent order of Tenders Bucket seemed like the tenders had changed dramatically, no longer breaded but battered, and somewhat smaller than they'd been. Not a fan of the new style.“

Update after 6 years I move from clawson to other city I try different places and this place is still the number one I feel like they do follow recipes they do really great job and have the best service 🙏👍❤“

“The place itself can be very mild or very wild, it just depends on the night and how it goes, that being said, dont be the guy who gets too hyper and is spilling people's drinks everywhere by acting crazy.

Drinks are minimum of $10 unless you get a beer which is not much less
Music is good but only on the second and sometimes 3rd floor, but thats just personal preference.
