“Browsing the list of restaurants in our area we were surprised that there is a fish and chips place that we hadn't seen before. We were doubly surprised to find that it is situated within a Korean Supermarket. But the food is the real deal. Absolutely delish if you crave some fish and chips. Doubly so if you want side orders of Korean snacks on top of it.“

“Went here as other places were packed today and would say this is a great spot for fried fish! Split a white bass and a catfish dinner which had generous portions and came out hot and tasty; not oily at all. Didn't get a chance to try the chicken but plan on coming back; and had we had room for dessert or extra sides there was a huge selection of traditional cake, cheesecake and puddings as well as every side you could want (and even some I wasn't expecting like falafel)“

“Food was ok. I would eat here again, but it didn’t blow me away. The main feedback I have is that in their effort to be inclusive of children, they take it a little too far. As soon as we walked in the door, one of the male wait staff members grabbed my 2 year old and started walking away from us! Obviously I followed, and it turned out he was taking him to a giant toy stash to let him pick something out. I’m sure their intentions are good, but you are a stranger, you don’t just grab someone’s child and start walking away! This same employee interacted with my son a few times during our meal, and then as we were getting ready to leave, he was tickling him and massaging his shoulders…creepy. Needless to say I was ready to get my son out of there. Can’t tell if it’s just this particular employee or just their way of trying to be friendly but it was too much.“

“The thing to get here is the Crack Chicken tenders or the jumbo shrimp with extra Crack seasoning. Both are very good with large portions...but a somewhat expensive.

To be clear, the Crack seasoning makes all the difference...without the seasoning the chicken and the shrimp just don't have that much flavor. It is the same at either Lansing location.

The fries and hushpuppies are very good too but expensive for what you get. Both really need the Crack seasoning too so make sure you order yours WITH extra Crack seasoning...you will thank me later. Check your fries BEFORE leaving the store to make sure they are fresh. The fries ALWAYS taste stale after a 30 to 45 minute delivery ride or a 25 minute ride home.

Pass on the fried cod, it is very fishy and gamy tasting...with or without the Crack seasoning.

Make sure you call your order in or be prepared to wait 20 to 45 minutes for your meal to be cooked. It is a small store that can get very crowded, very quickly...especially from 5 to 7pm any day of the week.

When ordering from Door Dash, we recommend checking your order BEFORE the driver leaves or you may get someone else's order...which has happened to us mutiple times already.

Overall, probably the best fried chicken tenders and jumbo shrimp...again, as long as you order it with extra Crack seasoning. The seasoning is so good, you might want want to buy some to take home with you. It does have MSG though but maybe that is one of the qualities that makes it addicting. It is good on virtually anything grilled or fried.“

Michigan State has 50000+ on-campus students, multiply that by family and friends, and if some of you visitors seek authentic Indian food try Swagath. \nIf You E. Lansing Swagath owner/operator folks are checking your reviews, we really liked everything , but we suggest you find an interior advisor (e.g. some where around MSU, and change your lighting). “We ordered the mixed chicken with light crack salt. It seemed a little over cooked for me, but that's exactly how my hub likes it. I loved the fried green beans. The Mac n cheese bites and onion rings were good. My hub picked the order up and said the place was cleaner than the chicken place on the Northside, which is important! We'll likely order again.“

“This place has been around for a lot of years for a reason. The food is good! I hadn't been in for a while. Apparently new owners took charge over a year ago and really elevated the menu. We were nothing but pleased with the quality of food and the overall preparation. The servers were professional and spot on. The photos will give you a good idea and what to expect.
