“Great place to stop in for some good BBQ and great Strawberry Shortcake! Every time I am in this area, I have to to stop here. The BBQ Sandwich is really good. They put plenty of meat on it, so it can be a bit messy to try to pick it up. But nothing my fork and knife can’t handle. The Mac and Cheese is great too. Very cheesy! Cornbread is wonderfully sweet. My favorite is the Strawberry Shortcake! It is delicious!! I will make a quick stop just for this alone.Parking: Parking lot is gravel.“

“My girlfriend will go out of her way to find the Petey's Donuts truck. Just the smell of the donuts makes you feel like those old cartoon characters that get lifted off their feet and dragged along following the scent. Unfortunately they do not have a brick and mortar store so you have to find out where their truck is. We've been driving down the highway when the Petey's truck is spotted and we make an emergency exit to be able to take advantage. I don't think their website always gives you where they are so it is always a nice surprise when you find them.“
