The bartender Mary is just wonderful and makes one hell of a juicy hamburger. We got to meet the owner who is very friendly along with the rest of the patrons. “Almost Cheers is a nice neighborhood bar. The bartenders are friendly and try to learn everyone's names. The crowd is friendly and willing to converse. They've just started offering food again, though it's all deep-fried, but it's good for what it is. The manager is trying to make everything serviceable and the atmosphere less drab than some may find it currently, so I have good hopes for them for the future.“

“Lakeville Station is our go to place! The food is always on point, their staff is super friendly and their drinks... especially today made me feel like I was on an island. “I went to Time Out on a Friday night around midnight in search of some late night grub. It seemed as if this was the only place open in Waterford! I tried the chicken fingers and fries, and they were great! ?? You might say how hard can that be to cook? I've been to other places that it seemed like I told them to cook a dinner impossible. Anyway, the waitstaff was awesome and attentive, plenty of TV screens, there was a great dj spinning that night as well. About 30 people came in not too long after me and atmosphere livened up considerably. The Time Out is definitely a vibe! Oh yeah, I don't drink, but I can vouch for the Coca-Cola tasting good, too ?“

“I took my two son’s here today. My youngest has autism and others’ kindly describe him as “a handful.” Accurate. The server comes over and asks for our drinks. She brings them back and my son just throws the cup across the aisle. And then laughs. Autism is super fun like that. Lauren (the server) was super nice about the mess. Another female server cleaned up the milk. They were both very understanding and it helped so much - probably more than they realize! I tipped them both but I hope a manager sees this, because, they are awesome employees!! You’re lucky to have them!“

For the people who don't understand- ordering a water and not paying for it doesn't make you a customer-It's not illegal to kick out somebody who is loitering.

This bar lets in plenty of people who need to warm up or use the bathroom. They're real easy to deal with as long as everybody is respectful of one another.

Ordering a water and taking up a seat in a bar that only makes money off of selling drinks and then wondering why you got asked to leave isnt ridiculous But maybe it's why you don't own a business yourself. 🧘‍♀️

“I ended up here on a work event. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup with the carnivore pizza. The pizza was fantastic. The soup was half of vegetables which I found unusual. The service was fantastic as well as the pizza, pass on the soup.“

The atmosphere has a genuinely tasteful feel with paneled walls, coved ceilings, and large pictures of horses here and there. The bar area is often well attended, and I believe that televised sports are on the televisions.

But today there was a server(not even ours) who went out of her way to make my young sons(2&4) feel special. With a random act of kindness. When I told my son that I didn’t have any cash for the duck claw machine, she overheard and had pulled a pair of singles out of her book for my sons to “win” a duck. I didn’t accept it, because we have too many toys as is, and my wife generally keeps a little cash(which my son begged from her). I didn’t her name, but I hope her manager sees this. “Came in for an early lunch today and was pleasantly greeted by a sweet young lady at the front door. She had such a great smile and energy, very nice to see. Our server greeted us right away and was so upbeat. She took our order right away and our food came out so quick! As we were eating an older woman with long hair came to check on us. She was so nice and accommodating, asked us if everything was to our liking, if we needed anything else, and chatted with us as if we were old friends. “This is a nice chili's location. Right next to the mall. The service is great, and food came out fast even with it being busy. Love the $10.99 meal with a drink and soup or salad. It is way better than fast food and you get more for the price! The chicken crispers are one of our favorite meals as well.“

“I went there for a Porsche Club event, very nice atmosphere good waitstaff. We had a buffet dinner. Consisting of salmon,pasta,roast beef,baked chicken breast,potatoes,salad. The food was good they have a variety of homemade craft beers and a full bar. They have a live band on certain nights and they have a comedy night. I highly recommend this business.“
