Everyone's burgers where burned even the buns were over cooked the fries were very well done(I didn't mined that but my husband and sisteron did) I believe they were training a new cook....our did waitress came by and apologized for our order taking so long (we waited for over 40 minutes for our food) she also gave us a 15% coupon but I can't understand if your training someone why would you allow such poor quality food to leave your kitchen...... This was our first time eating at this Big boy. I've eaten at others so I had an idea of what to expect. The menu has been updated since the last time I visited and there weren't many seafood options left. I decided on a patty melt and my husband and daughter got country fried steak breakfasts. My husband's scrambled eggs were burnt so badly they were crispy. We informed our waitress and she immediately took his plate back and demanded they remake it. Here from Cali. and had to stop by this nostalgic eatery. In California Bob's Big was a popular restaurant back in the day. I believe there are only a few of them left now in Cali. It wasn't crowded and we selected a booth to dine. We ordered our meals and they arrived shortly. My husband ordered an appetizer of egg rolls. They were over fried and dark.
