We so wanted to like it…surprisingly SUPER EXPENSIVE. It was a bummer, ordered a burger, medium, got a burger SO overcooked it had chunks of char on it. Tasted like a cigarette. Also got fried whitefish that was left in the fryer, again, way too long. Just a bummer of an experience..
We've been here multiple times over the years, and the Tahquamenon Falls Brewery has never disappointed! I always get the pastie meal. Over the course of several decades, I have had many pasties all over the state of Michigan (even Muldoon's), and this one is THE best - huge size, light flaky crust, and filled to the brim with juicy beef, potatoes, and veggies! The unique atmosphere features beautiful mounts, artwork, and plenty of cool trinkets to purchase. The outdoor patio and cozy fireplace are popular spots for enjoying a beer after hiking or snowmobiling, with plenty of parking for gear. While some find the prices a bit high, the experience is worth it. Overall, the restaurant remains a welcoming destination for both locals and tourists.
