This place is so cute!! The location is perfect for a post hike/sightseeing lunch/dinner and drink! The whitefish basket was excellent and my husband’s burger looked great too! The beer was also 10/10!
Great restaurant for tourists and outdoorsy people! First time having Whitefish, and the waitress was spot-on with her recommendation (chosing beer battered over breaded and broiled). All 4 of their brews are phenomenal. Plus, it's right next to my favorite viewpoint of the Tahquamenon Falls. In case y'all have any kids, this is a family friendly restaurant. There's also a nice outdoor fireplace and ice cream place along with gift shops.
Love the rustic, warm, outdoorsy vibe, especially when they have a LOT of snow!
We just had beer and soup. I had the cheese soup which was really good, and my husband had the soup of they day which was loaded potato which was also good (but maybe a bit too thick, which I didn’t think I would ever say about a soup).
Super fair prices - $5 for soup.
Nice that they have a special area for snowmobiles to put their gear.
