Chicken Coop Reviews
This chicken is made fresh and with fresh ingredients. Service was down-home and super nice! Also reasonably priced.
Vegetarian options: Side dishes were veggies. Green beans, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, french fries.
Have always loved the food here, but tonight the service was not so great. Got booted out of the dining room as soon as we walked in and told we couldn't be served at 6:30 on a Saturday because it was "too close to closing", which is advertised as 8 PM online, and on the door. There were only 3 people dining in the restaurant at the time. I guess call ahead before you come to make sure you'll actually be served.
Best deal in the Lawton/Paw Paw Metroplex for a fried fish dinner.
Chicken Coop is a must-stop spot for delicious fried chicken. The staff is great, and the food is wonderful - you can't beat a bucket of their fried chicken. The location is worth the drive, with fresh and delicious food, friendly staff, and quick service. The chicken is made fresh with high-quality ingredients, and the service is often described as down-home and super nice. Consider trying the lightly battered fish on Fridays; it's flaky, light, and not fishy at all. The side dishes include veggies like green beans, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, and french fries. Despite the crowd, the line moves quickly, and the food is brought to your table. However, some guests have mentioned that service can vary, especially during busy times, so it may be wise to call ahead to ensure seating. Overall, Chicken Coop is a place that leaves a lasting impression, with customers eager to return and introduce it to others.
