“Delicious food at a good price! They also have yuengling beer on tap, which is new to michigan. We go about twice a week and always have a good time, plus line dancing on some Thursday nights. Finally our family deep well ran dry and the owners son was more than gracious to help us out and fill up a camping tote for drinking water.”

“It's never bad. It never blows my mind. There isn't much alcohol in there but drinks are cheap and it's good for a quick meal. The quality is always just okay. Service is usually always pretty good which is why I decided on 4 stars.

My only warning is full size salads are complete ripoffs. Salad on the left was $3 with a meal. Salad on the right is $16. Granted, one has chicken but they both legitimately had the exact same amount of lettuce, if not a bit less in the chicken one. I called to ask if they accidentally did a side salad for both. Nope. The manager says she is the one who packed it and saw absolutely nothing wrong with the value here and confirmed it was correct. Gotcha. It was the last full size salad ever ordered there for us.

Its a notch better than fast food for sure but I much prefer Social House for quality. Its more worth it when they run promotions and offer coupons for sure.”

Whether it is their menu staples, chefs specials’ or local dinners at the orchard, the food never disappoints. Plus, it’s nice to be addressed by name when you walk in the door. “We just went to Uncle Davey's for the first time. The staff was wonderful and the ice cream is so good! Not only does everything taste good, but you can see the pride they put into everything. Our two flurries and one sundae were beautiful!”

“The food is incredible, but I recently dined there and paid with credit card, which I will never do again. What I was charged with on my bank statement was quite a bit higher. They bring the machine to the table to pay, and I left 0 tip on credit because I like to leave cash. The ending credit card amount was like I left a 20 percent tip on card. I have no receipt, because when they bring the machine to the table it doesn’t spit out one. Lesson learned.”

“I just ordered through DoorDash and I just need to say….as someone who was born and raised for 30 years in the south I’ve had bbq from Florida to Texas and all states in between along with the Carolinas….and this brisket could rival ANY OF THEM. I haven’t been able to find actual BBQ since i moved to MI in 2019 and finally I did. I cannot express enough in words that everyone should try this place. Also Mac n cheese and baked beans are a 10/10 as well. You won’t regret eating from here! Portions are also large for the price I paid. Great food and good prices!!!!”

“Good first time visit. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice inside and had more of a restaurant vibe instead of a Bar so that was really nice. French Dip had a really good flavor and the BBQ Bacon Cheese Burger was cooked perfectly and was still juicy even though i said well done. The bun on the bugets and french dip held together nicely. Ribs where really flavorful and tender pulled the rib meet off with a fork. Pretzel bites and the deep fried cheese chunks where surprisingly good as where the nachos. Only complaint is the chicken we got was very dry and salad had only lettuce in it but besides it was a really nice first visit. Almost forgot get the homemade chips over the fries they are really tasty.”

They did offer to make another meal. The issue I had was they kept serving that sauce to other customers. Someone is going to get very sick.. I can’t believe a real chef would continue to serve that.”

“We have come to this restaurant many times and always have had a great meal. Tonight I tried something I never had before and it was a disappointment. It was the sweet and sour chicken. It had two small pieces of pineapple and 4 thin slices of carrot with a lot of chicken. There was a clear sauce which I believe was corn syrup but it could have been anything. Definitely not a sweet and sour that I imagined. I would not recommend this dish. I will go back to this restaurant and get something I have had before that was delicious.”
