“This is my self care. I don’t like a lot of typical self care things. What I do like are tiny fancy sandwiches and fancy tea in fancy dishes. The food is delicious and perfect for an afternoon tea with friends. It’s a quiet laid back British atmosphere. Keep your pinky up!”

“Oh my goodness. We were walking by and we decided to stop in and we are so happy that we decided to! We bought a few different donuts and they were so delicious. We ordered the cinnamon roll, blueberry and custard filled and holy moly - I wish we would have ordered more. The filling was so good in both the donuts. The frosting is so light and flavorful and the texture of the overall donuts are impeccable. We're blown away. I cannot wait to come back and try more.”

“We stopped in pretty much right after opening for an early lunch. First the atmosphere is perfect for a small town bar. We were greeted by our friendly server Barb and the cadence of the meal was perfect. We started with the breaded mushrooms - perfectly fried with a crunchy exterior and the mushrooms fully cooked. Our entrees - the Reuben with onion rings - the bread had a great grill on it. Kept the sandwich from being soggy! The onion rings were again just about perfect. No sliding onion rings after the first bite here! I had the Hanover Backwoods Burger and wow was it tasty. The fries were good (I believe double fried with a good crunch) but the burger was the star of this meal for me. If we're in the area again we'll be back!”

“I've known the Tecumseh area for a few years, I don't know how I didn't know about this place already! Went with family off the cuff who knew the local places better, LOW prices and a DRIVE THRU? They make it too easy lol. I had the small vanilla soft serve with caramel for only a few dollars and it was amazing, ice cream that was the freshest and thickest ever, I forgot fresh ice cream could taste that good! Worth the wait if you're in a long line on a hot day.”

“My wife and I enjoyed wine tasting with Ed (business manager) and Dan (winemaker) on 13 Feb 24. We enjoyed several of the $2 tastings, as well as several $1 tastings. We purchased two bottles of wine. Ed was very accommodating, giving us great information about the wines we tasted. Dan then took us to the basement of the property, built in the 1870s, to show us where the wine is processed. It is interesting that the wines are named after ships that have sailed in the Great Lakes. We had a great time visiting this winery!”

“The best burgers and Pizza in Saline, beats just about anything in neighboring Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti as well. An old School bar with an Up North feel, the Bartenders are all Super Cool, Amber, Nichole, and Bailey all do a great Job. Check out their Steak Night sometime.”
