It was a birthday celebration. As always Chandlers did not disappoint. But they were out of scallops and the venison was tough. Peach salad and crab cakes amazing. So was the filet. Service was outstanding. Always vibrant and loud. A few more meat options besides steak would be nice. Pork chop or tenderloin, veal chop, lamb Chop, beef shank. Always a great experience.
We were seated in a lower room that was very noisy. Having a face-to-face conversation required raising our voices. For some reason the kitchen staff dropped pans or dishes that startled my wife throughout our meal. Our server was distressed at this. Our food was very good but pricey.
Dining at Chandler's has been great every time and this was no exception. The dining room is always a bit loud. Service and food was great. Beef tartare was excellent. The sea bass was good, not great, just a touch dry. The lamb biryani with chops was also good but not great, just a touch less than medium rare. The seasonal berry bowl was just alright.
