We loved the place. Our last morning in Petoskey we wanted to try this little coffee shop. I had an Americano and my wife had a plain latte with coconut milk…delicious! We also enjoyed talking with the owner/manager. We wish the best for Petoskey Coffee Company.
Reviews didn't disappoint as I ventured in after a watered down cup from breakfast at roast and toast and had read of the Petoskey Coffee Co Ethiopian bean which is a favorite. When I arrived, it was a great music selection, relaxed feel with perfect lighting and great spot for reading as I saw one patron doing and another working away. Not too bisy, just right. The smell was phe omega, better than any Starbucks you'll venture inside of as well the sound and ambience...
Very good coffee here, coming from a picky coffee customer. I don't do milk drinks so I can't speak to that, but as for the base quality of their beans and brew, they get high marks here. It's always a good sign, especially in Michigan, when a roaster's bags have a clear origin, process, flavor notes and a roast level/date.
