We found Elder Piper when we were driving through the neighborhood outside of downtown Petoskey. They have a nice variety of beer and cider on the menu. I enjoyed the Honey Lager and the Prairie Willow. There is a Stiggs food truck on the patio. We had some wings. The food was just OK. The Stiggs restaurant in Boyne is much better. We sat on the patio and enjoyed the fire pit. Great spot. We will be back.

What an amazing Brewery! Did not get to try everything, but what I did have was VERY good! Atmosphere is outstanding, service was even better. The kids enjoyed it just as much as we did. Plenty of games to keep them busy for a bit.

On our annual trip to northern Michigan, we found this gem of a brewery. They just celebrated there first year and I hope for many more of them ahead! Great stouts and ipas, the cherry cider was also top notch. The space is also very fun and modern with great outdoor seating. We will be back!

Wow! It's a hidden gem in Petoskey. The beer is outstanding. I like Pale Ales and the Pineapple Pale Ale is so good. The staff and atmosphere are great too! Looking forward to bringing our pup there next time we go.

Piney, but smooth. Very tasty DIPA. Excellent flavor profile with just the right kick.

My wife is from Petoskey and we spend some time here every summer visiting her family. During our most recent trip we went to Elder Piper and it is hands-down the best brewery experience I’ve had in my years of visiting Petoskey. I’ve been to many places that do both beer and cider and I’m almost always unimpressed with both, but at Elder Piper everything is top notch. I particularly recommend the Vienna Lager, Imperial Stout, and Barrel Aged Cider. We will definitely be back here during our future visits to Petoskey!

The Star Thistle saison was great, utilizing local honey in the beer. The Stiggs food wagon had famous fries, which we got fuggle style, were phenomenal. The ciders were pretty great too.
