Sage Chophouse, located in the Odawa Casino in Petoskey, Michigan, offers a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service. The ambience of the room is spectacular. The staff is top notch, with servers described as excellent, great, and absolutely fantastic, making guests feel right at home. While there can be a little chaos at the beginning of the dinner rush, the kitchen is completely on their game.
The food receives high praise. Dishes like the seafood corn chowder, lobster rolls, shrimp cocktail, mushroom gnocchi, roasted gnocchi, calamari with Asian sauce, pork belly, escargot, and lobster & steak are called delicious, unbelievable, perfect, and excellent. The pumpkin creme brulee is also excellent. A note mentioned that the gravy poured over the steak & potatoes was an exception, and that additional silverware and plates would be appropriate. The prices are very reasonable and absolutely affordable. Every single dish was literally done perfect, making for an enjoyable food experience.
