“All I can say is wow! We stumbled upon this place while looking for pizza places in Petoskey. I am so glad we did. if you haven't tried them yet then... do it fast. Already one of our favorites. Today we are trying fried Greenbeans....sounds amazing! The cheese steaks are amazing and omg the loaded fries.. Do yourself a favor spend your money here and not at any of the McDonald's in Northern michigan. AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and its REAL FOOD....can you believe its actually cheaper? Amazing 👏“

“I genuinely don’t understand how this place doesn’t have even better reviews. The pizza was SO good, easily the best and very had in petoskey. Everything tasted fresh, the crust was perfect, and we absolutely loved it. On top of that, the staff and owner were incredibly nice and friendly. This place deserves way more love, and we’ll absolutely be back!“

“The smell of fresh baked goods is enough to draw you in. We bought a selection of cake donuts, fritters, long johns etc. and all were fantastic. The pies looked excellent as well. Wish they had such a place in South Carolina.“

“Doesn’t get much better for a tasty cocktail after a long day! This place is always exciting with so many events and visiting chefs. Bartending staff is incredibly friendly and inviting and the Gypsy swag is amazing! Perfect location for when you’re walking through Petoskey and want a cool cocktail. Highly recommend!“

“Great experience here the Thursday & Friday before Labor Day. Very friendly and helpful staff. In the heart of Bayview with wonderful historic homes that are beautifully maintained. If you like “new & shiny” this isn’t your place, but if you love history and historic architecture, walking tours, etc this is the place. A little over a mile walk to downtown Petoskey and lots of interesting walks within the Bayview community. Great restaurant with outstanding food! I must say I missed the restaurant being open for breakfast like it was years ago, as I prefer a hot breakfast with eggs to a continental breakfast, but the continental breakfast did have a wide selection of pastries and included cold peeled hard boiled eggs, some other savory choices, juice, tea & coffee. The dinner & dessert choices at the restaurant were all absolutely outstanding!!! I had a difficult time choosing each night and the service was great as well.“

“Joe and crew made us feel welcomed. drinks were quickly served as we waited for a table, then decided to stay at the bar. between 630 and 7, there was 20 minute wait for a table. it took probably 20 minutes to get appetizers, but the rings and skins were worth the wait! we didn't feel rushed and enjoyed the food and chat with fellow bar guests. shout out to all for blessing me with hot banana peppers for my corona!!!!!! the cod and fries special was on point!!! worth mentioning, the hot sauce selection!! thanks Southwoods for a great meal!!“

“We have been coming here once every few months for years. One of the more reasonably priced options in Petoskey. Some menu items have changed, but we have never been disappointed. All of the wait staff have been exceptional. Both hubby and I were happy with the boneless wings meals tonight.“

“Another road trip, no matter which states I traveled to, there will always be an Asian Buffet, if you are In a rush / driving long hrs / the Buffet is always there for customers , and at reasonable price, driving from NYC , a buffet in Mi, their buffet menu are very similar and identical to NYC. For me , their egg roll portion seem awkward to me, but the rest tasted to same as if I was in NY. Service is fast and they closed at 9pm . I came in around 7:30, was popping inside alot of customers. And can take out. For some reason , its dark inside with Christmas lights . Asian colors suppose to be red for good luck but their wall paints are green, it looks sad and dark not much decorations , Not my 1st seeming this background before , other Asian buffet I been to had the same theme. The food has flavor , fish , chicken & broccoli , steam veggie are my chooses at every buffet. The jello for desert / ice cream cone“

“As a fellow bartender coming from out of town, the team here was absolutely wonderful. super accommodating and friendly! great beer, great merch, and a fabulous looking food menu (I wish we hadn’t eaten beforehand!).
