“You have to try the Blueberry Streusel Pancakes! I love breakfast, and these were the best pancakes I’ve ever had no question. Also of note, we got a side of potatoes that were perfectly crispy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. The hotel is very nice. A little more expensive for breakfast but it was totally worth it.“

“All I can say is wow! We stumbled upon this place while looking for pizza places in Petoskey. I am so glad we did. if you haven't tried them yet then... do it fast. Already one of our favorites. Today we are trying fried Greenbeans....sounds amazing! The cheese steaks are amazing and omg the loaded fries.. Do yourself a favor spend your money here and not at any of the McDonald's in Northern michigan. AMAZING FOOD, AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE and its REAL FOOD....can you believe its actually cheaper? “What a happy find!! We arrived to our hotel to tired to go out to eat. Came across Mighty Fine Pizza when searching delivery options. The pizza was outstanding. Wings were meaty and their rub n sauce delicious. Don't skip ordering their Might Fine Salad- definitely add one to your order. Everything was delivered hot and fresh. Staff very pleasant. I only wish they were in my hometown.“

“Great experience here the Thursday & Friday before Labor Day. Very friendly and helpful staff. In the heart of Bayview with wonderful historic homes that are beautifully maintained. If you like “new & shiny” this isn’t your place, but if you love history and historic architecture, walking tours, etc this is the place. A little over a mile walk to downtown Petoskey and lots of interesting walks within the Bayview community. Great restaurant with outstanding food! I must say I missed the restaurant being open for breakfast like it was years ago, as I prefer a hot breakfast with eggs to a continental breakfast, but the continental breakfast did have a wide selection of pastries and included cold peeled hard boiled eggs, some other savory choices, juice, tea & coffee. The dinner & dessert choices at the restaurant were all absolutely outstanding!!! I had a difficult time choosing each night and the service was great as well.“

“Coming from a Major Food Snob- Teddy Griffin’s is 5 Stars!!! Ive been looking for good food in Indian River, Cheboygan and surrounding areas all Summer. I finally had a meal I LOVED and Raved about. We started with Lamb Lollipops- Yum! The Chicken Picatta is packed with flavor and just so darn good. Pecan Crusted Whitefish was another excellent choice and we followed it with a slice of Carrot Cake. Compliments to the Chef! We will be back!!“

“Okay, first time here. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the wait staff seems very friendly and helpful. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was very tasty and the seafood Chowder was amazing. But the Walleye was tasteless. If it wasn't for the mashed potatoes and carrots you wouldn't know it was there. Daughter ordered Lobster Carbonara and it was almost tasteless and lobster was over cooked and a bit rubbery. Chef in my opinion needs to taste his creations before sending them out of the kitchen. Also please change the music, fine dining and 70s Disco/ Rock & Roll do not pair well.“

Although microbreweries always have to adjust to the times… the one thing about Beards is the beer has always been exceptionally good for years and years. They rotate food menus which keeps the menu from getting boring and the food is always good! The Root Cellar is the basement is our hangout!“
