The last few times we've visited Beacon, the food has been Meh at best. Last night, our table ordered the Tuscan Chicken, and specifically asked that the chicken not be overcooked. Didn't help. And the dish was under seasoned and one dimensional. The ciabatta and dipping oil was similarly uninspiring. Bread certainly wasn't made fresh, sauce was ok, but needed some basil. There's been a marked decline in the food quality over the past year, which is disappointing...
Emma was our server and she was efficient and non-intrusive. Two of us had the salmon, cooked perfectly, with a cream sauce over the top. The herb & feta couscous was delicious! The green beans were great. One person had the perch and said it was ok, he's had better. The 4th person had the tuna poke bowl, which he always gets and ate every bit! Emma has been our server before and she was very good again! Whitefish Dip and Happy Hour drinks were great! Dinner was delish, French Onion Briquet soup and Walleye! The view is Awesome! Little Traverse Bay
