“Today's travels brings me to the small town of Sand Lake, Michigan. After finishing my work for the day, I drove through the little downtown looking for a place to get some lunch.I saw a little front called the Lakeside Inn. You've seen places like this in little towns by you. They look alike with that front, typically just breakfast and lunch. Lunch is usually about 6 different boring sandwiches that aren't very good. This is NOT that boring restaurant! For such a small place, they had a HUGE menu. They have like 6 or 8 different types of club sandwiches. I ordered a hot roast beef sandwich. Naturally, I ordered double meat WHICH WAS AN OPTION FOR MORE THAN JUST THIS!!So, I expected that same hot roast beef sandwich that you get at other similiar diners, with that cheap deli sliced roast beef. Oh no, not here. We're talking full on roast beef sandwich piled high with real, unsliced, chunked homemade roast beef. The sandwich and mashed potatos filled the entire plate. And the flavor. Ohhh man. I died and went to hot roast beef heaven. As if that wasn't enough, I decided to be fat and order a piece of pie. Other reviews had talked about the pie, so I had to try it. Lots of pies to choose from. I tried the banana cream pie. It's not often you see banana cream pie. Yummy! All in all, this was a GREAT find, and I wish there was more places like this. Laurie at the register was super nice and friendly. Sorry, I don't remember the young lady who was my server, but you did great too! :-)I've gotta go back next time I'm in this little town. Til next time!“

“The "Halfway Diner" is a gem! From the looks outside most would probably drive right by. It is located halfway between the Beltline and Greenville so if you've never been here you would probably drive right on bye. But, that would only happen once because once you stop you are hooked. The food is fantastic and the staff is outstanding. Everyone is treated like family. It is our favorite. We probably go there two to three times a week when we can get in. Too many people have found this place so if we don't get there early they are out of the specials. But they have plenty of other delicious things on the menu along with homemade desserts. Top of our list!!!“

“Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday to order their steak dinner for 2 special. It did not disappoint and was an incredible value to boot.Restaurant looks to be either new or recently remodeled, service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. The special includes 2 8 oz strip steaks with salad and mashed potatoes. The steaks were cooked to perfection (ordered medium rare) and not overseasoned. The salad was a delicious mixed green salad with generous portions of veggies and the mashed potatoes were also delicious! If I lived locally I would definitely eat here often!“

“I used to love this place. I used to come several times a week. The lady they have running the drive-thru now is one of the rudest people I have ever come across in fast food and she should really get a different job because you can tell she's not happy.EVERY time I come to this store I order a SINGLE and every single time they give me a double ( and charge me for it)This lady acts like I asked her to rip off my arm when I asked her to correct my order to what I actually ordered.“

“It's a dive bar for sure, but there's nothing bad about that. The food is great, the bartenders are nice, and relatively quick on their feet. The people are all welcoming and social, and it's a great place to be to knock a couple cold ones back with the boys. Multiple tv's so you don't miss either of the games that are on. Go Lions!Vegetarian options: there's quite a few things with vegetarian alternativesParking: there's a section for bikes only, and there's a bunch of regular parking spots aside from thatKid-friendliness: kids are welcome until 9 pmWheelchair accessibility: there's a side door with an accessible ramp“

“Random place i picked from google maps. I have to say it was phenomenal. Picked chicken breast with sautéed onions, mushrooms and a spicy cajun seasoning. Came with rice pilaf and sauteed vegetables. First thing i noticed is how hot food was. Amazing. Food tasted great, portion was proper (2 6oz breasts), and price was reasonable. Well done! ?It's often a crapshoot post pandemic when you go out and eat at a restaurant. Not here! Service was very good and friendly. I drive a truck, so am all over the place. Highly recommend this place!Parking: Street access for big semi truck and trailer.“

“Took food out for dinner. My husband had chicken wet burrito. I had beef wet burrito. It was delicious. The meal was huge. I had onions, lettuce, and tomato in mine. We got a side of rice and beans for $2.24 each. It was a big container of rice and beans. We both got a side of rice and beans. It's a little quaint restaurant located in Cedar Springs. I didn't eat inside so I don't know the atmosphere. I would recommend the food. It was delicious.“

“Honestly, this is among one of the better Big Boy locations. I always get the soup bar and it is always stocked and freshened up and if anything is needed, the employees work quickly to get things filled and replaced. Wyatt, Leah, Andrea, Emilie, and Joyce are absolutely fantastic and the manager, Mel has done a wonderful job pulling this place out of the ground. If you want a nostalgic Elias Bros experience, I recommend coming here versus other GR locations!“

“I always drive by here but never stop. But today my pregnancy cravings got me and I was craving a wet burrito very bad so I gave it a try and lemme just say this the food is absolutely delicious! The wet burrito is so filling and flavorful, definitely will be returning back and they’re very good priced. I highly recommend.“
