1871 Taproom is a great place with great food, great drinks, and even better service. Guests are greeted immediately and served by attentive, friendly, and personable staff who make sure they want for nothing. The food is amazing, and the fries are the best. The cod basket, cod sandwich, and bleu burger are all fantastic, and the drinks are amazing. One guest found the lunch special cod basket very good but thought it would have been a better value with a 3rd piece of fish. Service is fast, and one server even waited to put in a 2nd drink order until happy hour prices were in place. The staff is so friendly, and there are just good vibes all around. 1871 Taproom definitely hits the spot and comes highly recommended. Guests will be back for the food and the staff.

We stopped in for a lunch after a problem at the Dog & The bark. We are so happy we did! Lorelai greeted us with a smile and was super attentive the entire meal. We didn’t want for anything! The food was amazing. They have the best fries!!! We will definitely be back! Partially because the food was so good, but mainly because of the staff!! So friendly and just good vibes all around!

My server, Jodi, was the most personable, most attentive person in her position that has ever helped me. I’m writing this because she was so amazing, I couldn’t contain myself in screaming her praises.

Our waitress, Jody, was amazing!! Service was fast, food was great and she was very attentive. She even waited to put in our 2nd drink order until happy hour prices were in place.
