“When coming here for awhile, awesome food and nice guys. But they are funny…I get the same thing everytime I visit. 3 chicken tacos with everything on it and literally everytime the price is different no matter what the day. It’s kind of frustrating so I won’t be going there as often.“

“Don’t let the outside fool you. It’s a small hole in the wall restaurant but the food ?. Best to get food to go as it’s very limited seating. Ordered pozole and wifey got quesa birria tacos. Both were fantastic. We will come back it’s that good.“

“On the pricier side, and there's at least a 15,-20 min wait , but it is well worth it!Portions are filling. Definitely will be going again!“

“This place is a winner for tacos—you really can't go wrong with them! I made the mistake of trying the Coctel de Camarón y Pulpo, but I was only served shrimp, and honestly, the cóctel just isn't up to the standard of the tacos. My biggest complaint, though, is the checkout process: since it's a combined store and restaurant, the register asks for a tip on the entire bill, even the retail items I purchased. That part I definitely don't like.“

“Taco Vida has great food, fun open atmosphere topped with very friendly service to make this an all around 5-star quick bite to eat. I had 4-different tacos including the beef, pork shrimp and chicken and enjoyed each. The owner was there and was quick to greet us with a friendly and welcoming smile. With a bottled seltzer, 2 meals and a small dessert, our bill came to $47“

“Hidden gem—almost impossible to see the name of this little restaurant, so it’s easy to miss! But what a fun surprise when you do find it. Great drinks—I tried the Hibiscus Margarita, my hubby had the classic. Very tasty! The food had great authentic flavor and was very reasonably priced for Birmingham. I had the shrimp taco and didn’t love how thick the soft shell was, but the flavor was delicious and the sauce with the shrimp was yummy. My hubby and daughter loved their dishes. He got a steak special and she got the Biria dish.
The coconut cake and churro cheese cake dessert were fabulous and worth the calories!
Service was great, friendly and helpful!
We will definitely be back! And next time I will get pictures!“

“Service was excellent. Margarita was delicious if not slightly small. We had the taquitos dinner which was presented well in a fried basket shell with lettuce, pico and guacamole and to dip sour cream and queso. The chicken was well seasoned and not dry. We also had the fish Baja tacos and they were also not dry and flavorful with pineapple on the pico was an unexpected added touch that was delicious. The Baja fish dinner came with perfectly cooked seasoned fries. We rode a quite a way to try a new Mexican restaurant and we're not disappointed. We will definitely be going again.“

“We had the pleasure of trying this taco truck when it recently visited our subdivision. We had to try a lot of the items and they were all tasty.Birria tacos were nice and cheesy, with tender meat. If you buy 3 you get free consome, but this dip wasn't our favorite, we definitely preferred their salsa instead.Speaking of their salsa, we asked for the hot and it was pleasantly warm, full of spice and flavor. One of the best salsas I've eaten in my life.Pork tamale was good, I can envision buying a half or full dozen. We had two traditional style Pastor and Barbarbacoa tacos that were both fulfilling our Mexican traditional taco craving. We had an asada torta which was our least favorite item because it was a soft texture throughout the whole sandwich. Wish there was a crispness or something they could modify. Just felt a bit mushy. In total, we will definitely have to check the truck out in its normal spot for tacos(traditional or birria) or tamales with that tasty hot salsa!“
