“So glad I discovered this restaurant. We got the birria taco dinner and the 3 mixed taco dinner with rice & beans. Also ordered the hot cheeto mexican street corn and OMG it was amazing. So good heated up the next day as well. The chicken could use some work but overall the carne asada, birria and al pastor meats were great. Definitely will be back. Can’t find good taco deals often nowadays and they have a few!“

“I love this place. I started at their other location but now they are so close to home. Always good food. I can’t say I haven’t liked nothing yet. Good breakfast too! Affordable, clean place. Get the shrimp tostada. It’s my favorite item on the menu.
Vegetarian options: Th3 veggie tacos are very good. I’m an omnivore but still other veggie tacos cause I like them so much.“

“This place is phenomenal. My husband has tried it at his work and couldn't stop talking about it. We went into the location tonight. They have a small, but nice seating area. The staff is beyond helpful and friendly. Anything you need or ask for, they are happy to get for you. The nachos are out of bounds. Their homemade queso is so delicious and everything they use is super fresh. My husband loves the California quesadilla with bacon, chicken and avocado. We tried the churros tonight, and couldn't stop eating them. I would highly recommend this place.“

I used to come all the time prior to going vegan, and jt has been a few years. They have really added and expanded their plant based offerings. You can tell the person making the menu enjoys plant based food because each one was unique and delicious.“

“Their steak tacos are made with ribeye steak. It was so delicious. They are made with real onion, diced tomatoes, cheese, cilantro. I will go back. I think the owner was happy that we came in because he gave us salsa, queso and fresh chips to try them. So good. I will be back.“

“I ordered the Shrimp Taco Dinner. It was great. You get 3 tacos beans and Mexican rice. I loved the rice it wasn't bitter like some make it. The drinks are can and bottle, but that's OK with me. They do a big take out business. We ate in. The waitress was very attentive even though she was handling the phone orders and the pickups. We will be going back again. If you are in St. Clair Shores area and looking for a bite to eat, they are on Greater Mack, a few blocks south of the Post Office on the East side. Give them a try. I think you'll like it.“

“I had such a great first experience at House Of Barbecue tonight! I have been wanting to stop by for so long, and I’m so happy I finally did. We had the pulled pork sandwiches with mac & cheese, street corn, corn bread (topped with delicious melted butter) and can’t forget the Faygo. Everything about the experience was so great, the welcoming staff, spacious outdoor patio and our amazing waiter Omar. Omar went above and beyond for us, he checked on us many times with a smile, he informed us of the specials, dessert options, that everything was homemade and even cracked a few jokes. I will definitely be coming back to try their other items, it all sounded amazing. From lamb, to crab cakes they’ve got it all. Everything is homemade and fresh, which is hard to find at restaurants nowadays. It was like a fine dining but felt warm and comforting. Definitely check out this place and support local businesses!“
