While the food was excellent (loved the bistro sandwich, homemade chips and salmon dinner,) the biggest praise goes to our server, Rebecca. We came here on vacation with our handicapped daughter, Kimber. She has very specific needs when it comes to food. On top of accommodating every one of those needs, Rebecca made sure to find ways to make Kimber's dining experience even more incredibly special...from providing a delicious plate of fruit (because she could not eat lobster...
The food tasted good. I ordered the blackened Walleye dinner..it was $29. I got 3 super small pieces no more than 2 1/2 inches long and 1/2 wide. That's like 10 bucks a piece! Should have gotten at least 5 pieces that size for the money. Then got the Calamari appetizer for $17 and they cook up pepper rings so it looks like your getting more Calamari than you are! So maybe got 5 small pieces of Calamari all together. The food tasted good, ghe service was good but really...
I will gladly drive forty miles for their Baja fish tacos...supremely delicious! Every thing ordered was homemade and uber fresh! And of course the ambience is perfection when you're outside on the patio taking in the Blue Water Bridge and the freighters going by at the very end of the St. Clair River.... I think it's the makings for a perfect evening especially with my son and my Pomeranian 😁
