Alberts is a mainstay,a must go for tourists yet the locals swarm this place all year long. Fresh cut fries are always the same. Very consistent and very good. The chili cheese fries are awesome. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's deep fried everything and it's dam good. There's always a lineup in the summer but they move you along quickly without compromising quality. Some of the newer trucks by the bridge are subpar. Just come here and walk to the bridge.
My wife and I were staying in Point Edward for the night and we had heard good things about this place, so we gave it a try. Glad we did, as it was great! The prices are very good, the food was great and they have a good selection of menu items. I generally don't like fresh cut fries, as most places serve them soggy and overcooked. Not here, they were light and crispy, and some of the best I've ever had. As we live only an hour away, we will definitely be making some more trips...read full review
