“Had a large 17 person party. All staff was very supportive as it was the first time most of my family has been to this sort of restaurant. Overall very kind ladies/servers.
Food was constantly coming out, and the buffet was consistently cleaned serving amazing food during the entire duration.
One thing I will say is for some reason the floor is super slippery and may result in a fall from a customer one day!“

“The food here is exceptional. The steak was cooked as requested, tender and medium rare. The sides of oven roasted brussel sprouts and baked sweet potato were delicious. Fresh baked bread and butter was a great start to our meal. Our server was Christina and she was super.
Kid-friendliness: Definitely family oriented.

“2 stars for the atmosphere because I do not believe that the place should have been as god awful loud as it was. I got the riblet deal and fries. The riblets were in the spicy Asian sauce and I liked that a lot. My partner had the crispy shrimp and she loved it.“

“We're regulars. We only go on weekends for dim sum. Though not as extensive as in metropolitan areas, the dishes listed on the menu are wonderful. We always order the same items. Spring rolls with a hint of five spice powder, scallion pancakes, chicken congee with just the right amount of green onion seasoning, turnip cake and stuffed eggplant, are but a few of our favorites.
Don't forget to order the duck!

“Generally has very good food, and a great variety. Prices are very reasonable as well. Senior lunch prices are under $10. They pretty much always have good seafood selections on the buffet. Also, there's a Mongolian style BBQ grill and a sushi bar included in the price. One of the best Chinese Buffets in Lansing area.
Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. Large dessert line with soft serve ice cream and frozen yogurt machines.“

“The food here is amazing. I cannot believe that we did not find out about this place earlier. Make sure you get the red sauce for your sandwich. It's amazing. And the waffle fries are awesome as well. We've never had anything from here that we did not like.“

“We moved to Grand Ledge in 2021 and had Peppino’s pizza for the first time. Ever since we have been frequent customers. The garlic breadsticks and ranch has to be some of the best in town. Prices are great and the quality of pizza is amazing. 10/10 would always recommend.“

“Fortune house just opened for the day when we arrived, no other guests were there yet, so I had a chance to ask alot of questions about Chinese food. The lady who helped me with my order was very knowledgeable. The way she explained the food, it started to really make me hungry. The quality of the ingredients and all the time-consuming preparation and care that goes into getting all the details right was alot. Our group went inside to order take-out, after the order was taken 12 minutes went by and here came a mountain of food, it was a little shocking to be honest how much food we were brought for 37 dollars. It tasted incredible, a really nice flavorful meal. Best Chinese i had been served in a long time. The Fortune House was a pleasant surprise. The environment was quiet and clean. Small dining area, order your food at the register style,short wait, and delicious food, a happy time was my experience.“

“Wait staff was great even though they aren’t fully staffed…VERY FRIENDLY! Fairly attentive for how few there are, no complaints from me…I was kept fed with drinks so met my expectations. “This is our go-to restaurant. The food and service are excellent. The menue is huge and the prices are very good. We love the egg drop soup, sizzling rice soup, and egg rolls. Favorite dish is the sweet and sour chicken as they add pineapple and green peppers. Also, the birds nest (vegetables), beef and broccoli, ginger chicken, and general hso dishes. Some of the dishes are marked hot, but I have not had a spicy dish. If you want something real spicy, I would ask for more seasoning. The restaurant is dark and relaxing.“

“Best cozy spot for breakfast or lunch! The staff and customers are all like family. The food is fantastic, and the diner vibes are cozy.
This is owned by Joe's Gizzard City, and part of the same building; however, the Cafe hours are shorter so this space can sometimes be rented for events, with access to the full bar and restaurant menu!“
