“We had a birthday party for my daughter and instead of lugging ice cream to the park on a hot day asked A La Mode to help out with that part of the party. They were extremely accommodating and that helped us out so much. All of our guests loved the variety and everything was so good. I highly recommend them and they have some unique desserts I can't wait to try like their ice cream nachos which I'm sure are amazing! Very friendly staff as well and I can walk up to the window with my dog who loves ice cream too.”

“After seeing on Tripple D we stopped on a recent tour. We had the hot dog, the Tripple D burger and the combo plate. I tryed all flavors of Gizzards and everything was fantastic! Service, staff, and food, all amazing. Stop here!!!!!!!”

“We are from out of town and we were ordering some subs to be delivered to a local business that helped us earlier in the week. Spoke to Noah and he was great help with some questions we had for placing an order for 10 subs. He was very helpful and we apricated the guidance and help that was given. We hear the subs were great and we are thankful for the entire experience. If we are ever in the area we will be sure to grab lunch from this Subway.”

“Went through the drive thru. The lune went pretty quickly. I like this particular McDonald's, because the food is actually hot and good. Other McDonald's, their food is warm at best -- the cheese isn't even melted. But this McDonald's does a great job.”

“This is our first time at this establishment as we’re traveling across the state. We stopped in for dinner and had a fantastic experience start to finish! The cashier was new, but friendly and helpful - and the employee training her was doing a great job multitasking and being very attentive to customers. We will visit again when we pass through!”

“This was fun to try. It was my first time at a Korean hot pot and BBQ. The BBQ and the fresh seafood bar were very good. Something has to be changed for the gluten free broth for the hot pot though. It was kinda gross. it ruined the experience for me. I would give this restaurant 3 out of 5 stars.”

“Absolutely love this place! We were thrilled to find out an Afghan restaurant had opened in town. A friend got me hooked on bolani, and now I can get it anytime! I’ve since fallen in love with their pumpkin borani as well. The portions are perfect, the flavors are amazing, and everything tastes fresh and comforting. My boyfriend is a big fan too, and we make a point to stop in whenever we’re nearby. Five stars!”

“I brought my friend in earlier this week (Tuesday) for a one-of-a-kind Toad’s coffee and she said (and I quote), “This is the best latte I’ve ever had.” 😀 She’s from the Detroit area, so she has lots of coffee spots around her, but she called out Toad’s as having the best! She got a “Vanilla Killa” iced latte with oat milk. Thanks Toad’s for giving us such a great experience- per usual!”

“The best Indian restaurant in the Lansing area!

I got to enjoy this place twice in one week, once with my family, and another time with my girlfriend and some friends, and everyone left full and happy.

The first time I had the curry goat, and the second time I had the lamb rogan josh. Both were absolutely outstanding and perfectly cooked, and the portions were quite generous. My girlfriend had the aloo gobi which had a deep rich flavor without being overly heavy with sauce. The gobi manchurian appetizer was also to die for!

The food is high quality and incredibly well seasoned, not just with generic spice mixes. I am also a big fan of spicy food and was pleasantly surprised at how strong the 'Indian spicy' level was. But they were also able to make food medium or mild according to each guests tastes, without sacrificing overall flavor.

The servers are incredibly friendly, and not overbearing at all which is a hard balance to strike. I loved the lighting inside and also was very happy to see that you could also get alcoholic drinks with our meal, which you don't usually see in local Indian places.

Everyone should check this place out. It's great if you're already a fan of Indian food, and also the perfect place to take people who wish to try it for the first time. I can't wait to go back again.”

“Lovely little coffee shop! I enjoy their Westside location and am so glad to have a spot on the Eastside that is more convenient for me. The space is bright and welcoming, the baristas have always been friendly and helpful, and the staff has been very accommodating of my service dog and I. They even asked and provided him with a pup cup during our last visit! (To be clear, they are not a pet friendly business and only allow service animals per the ADA.) I typically order tea, though they have a nice selection of coffees and pastries as well. My only critique is that I wish they had more cozy, lounge-type seating, since right now they have mostly desks (although with plenty of outlets for online work). We've been here a few times already since they opened the Okemos location and will continue to visit often!”

“My husband and I recently visited BrickHaven for the first time and were impressed from the moment we walked in to the moment we left. We celebrated his birthday dinner there and were treated with warm, friendly staff. Not one rude person and they all seemed to genuinely be happy to be there. The atmosphere is bright and lots of natural light with warm undertones of the brick walls. The food was AMAZING and tasted so clean and fresh and the portions were not skimpy. The beer cheese pretzel was one of the best we’ve ever had and my husband is so picky haha. We will definitely be back and next time, we’re bringing the kiddos with us! “The pastries are... just okay. Not the best and they are a bit pricey, but since they are the only place in town I can get a croissant i will go once in a while.
Also, i don't expect lattes, or fancy coffee, just don't make me pay so much for coffee that's been sitting in a vat for an hour?
I'd definitely go there a lot more if they charged less for coffee, or charge the same and just serve better coffee.”
