The best Pastrami sandwich in the area. Always a treat!
Most of their power was out & they didn't have a grill fir their Rueben I wanted. So Sis hooked me up with a "de-construcked" rueben that U grilled proper at home!They still piled on the corned beef. Even had desserts!
The food was delish. We ordered the 17 1/2 and egg roll. The guy running the counter was so nice. He gave us samples of some soups they made that was so good also. Con: dining area was a little on the warm side

The size of the sandwiches can vary depending on how thick the bread is sliced and how the meat is ballled by the cooks, with bigger hands tending to create looser meat balls and smaller hands making tighter ones. The corned beef can sometimes be dry, but the French fries are excellent. The "Pound It" sandwich, which is a pound of corned beef, is very large and worth the price, though some customers have found bits of bone or wood fragment in their sandwich, which they chose not to complain about. The United Meat sandwich, combining corned beef and pastrami on a soft onion bun with Swiss cheese, is highly recommended and enough for two. The restaurant is not wheelchair accessible, and since the sit-down area is closed, customers are encouraged to order online or by phone to save money. The staff is friendly, and the quality of the sandwiches makes it worth the wait. Future plans include reopening the dine-in area so customers can enjoy their meals in the restaurant.
