I don't know who trains the ones that work at the take out counter, but there needs to be more!!!! Picked up an order and there was NO thank you, have a good night, or no smile!!! “I was so excited to find your menu online. I am always in the neighborhood and craving sushi, however I can’t eat anything with shellfish and I don’t eat anything rawr. So that makes things limited for me, however I found they had my favorite roll the Diablo roll! I was thrilled, went and picked it up and it was beautiful, it was so delicious. “If you get the opportunity to be served by Logan and Jade downstairs, do not miss it under any circumstance. I haven’t been to downtown in a long time (I’m a country hick), and these two treated my group like we were the only people in the restaurant. As far as those two were concerned, we were royalty. While they were “just doing their jobs,” they were amazing. If the rest of the staff is half as good as these two, do not hesitate to stop in. We could not have dreamed of better service. I just hope we tipped enough for how they treated us.“

“I’ve been here more times than I can count! My college friends and I discovered this place our freshman year and it was a favorite spot. The staff is very friendly and the food is incredible. I bring everyone I know when I can. My favorite is the spicy pork dish because it’s a large portion and comes with side dishes. The owner once noticed I got a haircut and has always been so sweet. Highly recommend!“

I've never been to a dinner where everyone was saying, "You've got to try this!' and everyone was tasting each other's dishes. They were fine with us bringing a wedding cake and even found a box big enough to hold the leftover cake. Speaking of leftovers, most of us required take home containers because of the generous portions.We weren't about to leave food that tasty behind!“

“We order from here a lot, but not after tonight. Most of the order was messed up and not cooked fully. Then, something we regularly ordered was half the size it was two days ago yet, the full price. We compared the containers because visually it was that obvious. Called and talked to the manager and got an apology, but no offer to correct the order or refund what they left out and what was not fully cooked. Would not recommend nor will be back!“

“my husband and I and my sister was just there Thursday 3/22/23 and the food was better than I remembered and the coffee was fantastic im glad they had French vanilla creamer, my sister and I got the French toast with a side of ham and it was fantastic my husband got eggs, hashbrowns , toast , bacon and ham the service was fantastic as well .. He is very accommodating and can adjust spice levels if you crave something a bit more spicy. “One of my favorite American food restaurant. The selection is great something for any of us. Homemade bread and pastries top notch. Favorite ruebarb pie hands down. My favorite are the breakfast selections. The staff have always been helpful. No complaints. We drive 40 minutes to get there although there are restaurants within five minutes from our house. I say yes go. I saw a comment about the clientele being unfriendly. That's a development that has increased since 2016 and not limited to the Grove Cafe. Love this restaurant.“

“I used to think I didn’t like Bimbo’s. My first time having it was ordering on Goldbelly. It wasn’t Bimbo’s that sucked, it was my tastebuds! I’ve ordered pizzas from there at least 10 times since, and they are my favorite. My lab stole half a Bimbo’s special from the counter tonight and the sadness I felt was immeasurable (my lab’s happiness over his plundered treasure did make me smile though). I love the crust more than anything, because it’s magic, but the sausage is also delicious!“

“A large, clean & quiet room and a front desk staff that was friendly and helpful. The group we were meeting with reserved a block of rooms, so we had reasonable rates for our stay. We were disappointed the onsite restaurant was closed during the time we were there, which led to some inconvenience as we were traveling with a car trailer and didn't want to drive this through traffic just to get a quick something to eat (hooking & unhooking the thing is a pretty big job, too.) The hotel did have grab & go items in the little shop in the lobby, including breakfast options that could be heated in the microwave. We didn't do this, but saw several people getting things. However, the bar was opened in the evenings and we enjoyed the banter with the bartender, who had some entertaining stories. Great guy. Considering the challenges with COVID and recent uptick in recreational travel, I'm not going to worry about the small things we'd usually expect in a nice hotel of the Sheraton brand, but do need to mention the coffee situation was dismal. We had a couple options - the traditional large urn that seemed like it was made by someone who doesn't drink coffee and the Mars brand version of a k-cup machine in the lobby. The first was unpotable and the second would have been semi-ok if we had another option than powdered creamer. A small complaint perhaps to those who don't rely on the bean to start their day. But to me, this is serious business. Honestly, I'd pay another buck a day to have some half & half at the coffee station. One more reason for the 4-star rating is the shower curtain was stained on the bottom. If it was changed recently and is that water-stained, then it's time to replace it.“
