Since changing to Commercial House they cut the menu and the service staff in half. It took 2 hrs to get our meal and then it was wrong. Twice in that 2 hr wait our drinks were empty and we had to ask for more. The mixed drinks were horribly weak. When we got our meal it was wrong. Huge disappointment from what it was!
Went to Chaps for lunch today with my friend Geri Militello and the food and service was incredible! Haven’t been there in over two years but will definitely be coming back soon!

Despite a disappointing new remodeling, the restaurant provides great service, awesome food, and reasonable prices in a comfortable and clean interior. Although it can get busy, seating is prompt, but there may be a delay in getting orders due to possibly having only one cook. Some customers have experienced undercooked fried foods, like the Reuben and fries, when requesting extra crispy options for takeout. Overall, Chaps Food and Spirits remains a beloved spot for many despite some inconsistencies in food preparation.
