“I always love coming here for the great selection of oysters. The space is cozy and overall the experience is usually pleasant. Today our server was honestly a little rude, which made our experience unexpectedly poor. I totally understand if someone is having a bad day but to be rude during the entire service when my whole table was as nice as possible is different. Definitely disappointed with our visit today.“

“I hosted my daughter’s baby shower there this past Saturday. From start to finish they were very accommodating. The food was delicious and the service was great. A big thank you to “Leonna” the event coordinator that I dealt with throughout. She also served the day of the shower and was very “on top” of everything. Leonna even designed a menu that resembled the baby shower invitation and placed it at every seat to allow our guests to know what lunch courses would be served.
My husband and I have celebrated various birthdays and anniversaries here but this was my first time hosting an event. I highly recommend the Rochester Chop House.“

“We came in for a date night. We have been very stressed as our wedding is 70 days away and he thought this would be a nice break away from planning and family obligations. DJ was our server, she was hands down the best. She joked with us and was very knowledgeable about the menu and drink choices. My fiancé even asked her to keep our food warm while I went outside to handle a phone call from our children. DJ was very attentive, you could tell she had experience. Will definitely come back and ask for her to be our server again.“

I got the royal chicken with eel roll combination box. The eel rolls were a bit lackluster (It had a tiny bit of eel) but the royal chicken was good. Came with an okay salad and rice.

I tried my friend's baked atlantic salmon roll and it was delicious.“

With no way to catch the big game at home, CJ Mahoney's was the perfect destination. Nestled in a cozy booth, we had our own personal TV, the perfect setup for an immersive viewing experience.

We kicked off the game with a classic Supreme Pizza, a cheesy, saucy delight topped with a colorful array of ingredients. While she sipped on a couple of refreshing 7 and 7's, I opted for a crisp Diet Coke. Later, we indulged in a flavorful cheese Quesadilla, a cheesy, crispy treat that hit the spot.

Despite the packed house, the staff handled the crowd with impressive efficiency. They were friendly, attentive, and kept our drinks flowing.

CJ Mahoney's has become our go-to spot for game day. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere makes it a winner in our book.“

“Stopped in on a Wednesday around 5:45-6pm. Seated right away, the staff was really friendly. The sushi we ordered was the Christmas tree, rainbow, and I believe the rising sun? “Surprisingly the restaurant was practically empty when we got there but it was very clean and the staff was welcoming. I had never been here before but decided to give it a try considering all the amazing things I’ve heard about the food. Food was great
although the soup they brought to us first was not good. Service was amazing as well our waitress was so friendly. Also the portions are HUGE for the price you pay. I had two more meals out of my entree. Defined get the crab Rangoon’s they are the best I’ve ever had much better than PF Chang’s.“
