River Village Family Restaurant

We went here in November of 2024. My partner had the Tilapia fish dinner, apparently it was undercooked as he vomited soon after.
The place looked filthy, I could see the grime on the table surfaces, chairs, floors and windows. Aside from the food poisoning and filth the chicken waffle dinner was fantastic, good taste and crispiness. I remember the service being nice.

Had an excellent breakfast today. Hubby had the western omelette which was very large. I had the breakfast special which was prepared nicely. We usually go for lunch or dinner. They have a variety of choices.

I love this little gem 💎 they have the best breakfast. Gyros are good, too! No complaints. The waitresses are great to.

Used to love this place, but Apparently upset that customers come in an hour and a half before they close. Talk like people don't hear them. Then when you leave, they are confused. When it's a quiet setting, you shouldn't talk about not wanting to help customers. They can hear you. Short blonde waitress is amazing. No thanks on the rest.

Best pancakes I have EVER had.

Overall food was great! I have 37 of experience running restaurants and yes you will run into a few people that don't have a personality. These 2 ladies both just seemed like everyone that walked in was a bother. For example when myself and my husband walked in the one behind the counter looked at us like she had better stuff to do. Never greeted us or even said anything about having a seat. There was another couple seated to the left as we walked in and she even noticed it. She said "she could of at least told you to have a seat or greeted you" I was like your exactly right. Customer service is very important especially when you are a mom and pop restaurant. Granted our server was not as bad as the other young lady. If your going to be a server and your wages depend on tips try to be a little more friendly.
