“Sugar Island Baking Company.. WOW!! My cousin and I hosted a family reunion in Grosse Ile, and we were looking for catering that was nearby, and I happened upon this in my searches. (I live in NYC so my standards are pretty high). Catering options were a nice variety sandwiches, cookies, brownies, cheesecakes shooters, and some savory options as well. Every single thing that we ate was better than the next. All the members of our family couldn’t stop raving about the food and desserts. Kristy and her team were very kind, communicative, and executed everything perfectly. I can not recommend Sugar Island Baking Company enough…“

“The absolute best little bakery and cafe. Everything and I mean everything is delicious. It’s all home made from scratch and so so so good. It’s one of those places you can take anybody to and they’ll find something yummy to eat. It feels so good to be able to go out with my little daughter and be able to feed her good food she actually is excited to eat. A very special place!

Kid-friendliness: They are SO good about your littles. My girl loves everything there, cookies, sandwiches, soups, quiche. The staff is super kid-friendly. We go so often, my 2 year old girl loves them all!“

“Decent desert place in metro Detroit area and Dearborn of course.
Their coffees are amazing especially the large cappuccino.
We have been there for many years and customer service always the best. Quality of their product never disappoints us. Cleanliness is also appreciated as being so busy never found them dirty or unclean restroom.
Chocolate turtle, macaroon are highly recommended. This store is located heart of Dearborn and close to highway.
Ice cream only available for summer time and I wish they would continue for winter as well.“

“I visited the patisserie today. I got several croissants (raspberry was divine) a fruit tart and a chocolate truffle. My young daughter was amazed by the Nutella croissant. The raspberry fruit tart was just excellent. I will go back and hopefully often. Very friendly staff. I would highly recommend.“

“12/22/25: Haven't been to a Cinnabon in forever(years), and this AA shop is shared/integrated with the Cinnabon shop. I got a regular pretzel with marinara sauce, a Cinnabon, and a strawberry lemonade. The pretzel was good, albeit quite salty, but maybe that's normal for a pretzel, I dunno. Would get it again at least. Lemonade was good, no complaints. Cinnabon was a bit doughy. It was a textbook Cinnabon, no doubt, as there was nothing wrong with it, but I just didn't vibe with the doughiness of the roll, in comparison to cinnamon rolls at a good donut shop.

Staff was extremely professional, and the place was very clean. I usually expect young people playing with their phones and such at these establishments, but no, the ladies behind the counter were dutiful and professional through and through. If you like either CB or AA, then this is certainly a great place to get them from =03.“

I got the Hot Honey Pizza Bagel on an Asiago bagel and I seriously think I found a new favorite snack 10/10. “First of all, I’m so glad to finally have a Cinnabon much closer to home. It was sooo delicious, hot, and fresh out of the oven. I did have to wait quite a bit for it (about 12-15 mins), because they had just put more in the oven. But I honestly had no problem waiting for it because I knew how fresh they would be, despite that though the staff repeatedly apologized for the wait, and offered to give me something for free, I said no it’s okay but he insisted and gave me a free glittery raspberry lemonade, also he didn’t charge me for the extra icing.
