We've been a few times and had a wonderful experience each time. I have food allergies and the staff let me read the ingredients list of some items I was interested in. That's top-notch service in my book!
This creamery has a vintage feel reminiscent of an old fashioned ice cream parlor. The interior is very cozy but there are a few tables outside for outdoor seating. Golden Cone offers local Michigan made ice cream (Guernsey brand) as well as custard. My fiance had the Cinnamon Roll ice cream which he requested be made into a root beer float and he really enjoyed it. I ordered the custard which comes in Chocolate, Vanilla, or you can get a combo of the two which is what I had....
Great variety of ice cream flavors!! Long lines but worth the wait. Train is super loud when it comes through but that's part of the experience. Free parking lot across from Badd Kitty. No indoor seating, small outdoor patio. Blue ice cream tastes like almond, very good!
