This restaurant is under new management and the menu is very different. While this appears to still be a nice family-owned business with people who are very polite and kind, the food is not as I remembered it to be. I ordered a family platter which came with grilled chicken over yellow rice drizzled in a spicy cream sauce. While it did come with a healthy portion of hummus, pickles and diced tomatoes, it did not include any fresh bread, grilled vegetables or salad. It was served...
Disappointed that we were the only ones in the restaurant, which makes us wonder if they are busy in the evenings. We stopped to eat here as we were on our way to a comedy show. Syrian food and Syrian comedian… I was hoping the restaurant would be more busy. They gave us two Costco water bottles, bread for the table with some garlic, we ordered a small hummus, small tabouli, and two chicken tawook entrées one with a salad and one with a soup. An absolute gem! The food was bursting with authentic Middle Eastern flavors—every dish was perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The hummus was creamy, the kebabs were tender and juicy, and the spices were just right. On top of that, the service was warm and welcoming, making the entire dining experience even better.
