imagine getting these dry FLAT oysters and when you send them back a waiter that IS NOT yours says “did you refuse the oysters…good because I’m going to eat them” don’t EVER eat here 🤢🤮🤮🤮 how condescending!
While the food was great, we waited 25 minutes for our first drink. However, this wasn’t the bartenders fault(only person working the floor) but the managements fault for 1. Not helping when their staff needed it and 2. Not scheduling enough staff on the floor. Planned on having a full meal but ended up with only a drink and oysters. The Pearl Room is a restaurant that offers a mix of experiences. While the food quality has been inconsistent, with some dishes described as "greasy," the service is consistently praised. Customers have highlighted Kroop as an amazing server, noting his personable nature and attentiveness. He is remembered fondly by returning guests for his accommodating personality and ability to make special occasions memorable. The restaurant's interior design is very beautiful, featuring eclectic decor and a comfortable ambiance with dim lighting. It has an old-time lounge feel combined with modern touches, creating a unique setting for celebrations. The menu includes enjoyable items like flash fried brussel sprouts, "smoking" shrimp cocktail, crab cake, lobster mac and cheese, and lobster rolls. Diners appreciate the fun gimmicks, such as the "smoking" effect applied to drinks. While there are minor issues, like the need for higher quality popcorn, the overall experience is enjoyable, making The Pearl Room a place that guests look forward to returning to.
