The food was fine but expensive. The blackened burger and fried chicken were in my opinion the best of what we tried. The ribs were also quite good, but the perch basket didn't really feel as worth and I'd probably instead go for the perch sandwich or fish tacos if you wanted a fish option. They also gave us some animal crackers at the end which was quite nice!
Fish tacos, walleye and beer all were excellent. It seems like a place where mostly locals go to drink at the bar. Friendly and attentive staff. Our Airbnb recommended it and we were lucky to get there early and grab a table without too much of a wait. A little dark but cozy.
The regular menu items are all very good and there is something for everyone. HOWEVER, the nightly special is usually outstanding. If they have halibut, order it. It is always excellent, never overcooked, and as good a dish as you will have any where. Anywhere! Plus, the staff is friendly and the cocktails are done right. Say hi to Jimmy behind the bar.
