Ice cream here is great! Get Mackinac fudge and lots of ice team flavors. There is a deal on Tuesdays to get 2 scoops for $2.50 ! Make sure to ask for the deal when you go to the counter. You can read about the history of the fudge and the stores opening as well while you wait in line .
Located in the tourist district across from the park where you can view the Soo Locks. They have many varieties of fudge, and when we there, they had a buy two, get one free special. So we bought three kinds. It was pricey, but if you're buying fudge, you never expect a bargain. Nothing special about the quality of the fudge - it was fine. The employees were super friendly, and very helpful while we made our purchase.

Some of the best ice cream we have ever had! And they simply charged us for the ice cream, no pushy point of sale screen asking for a tip. So we were happy to put a cash tip in their tip jar, the gals behind the counter were great. When we get a point of sale screen pushed towards our face it's "no tip", every time. Love that some places still have a sense of decency.
