This was a nice surprise. We knew when we pulled in the parking lot, but it was going to be a good place because at 4 PM there was a lot of cars. It’s an intimate bar area and restaurant. The bartenders are top-notch. Taking a lot of care to craft amazing cocktails with a smile on their face and easy to chat with. The food is outstanding. We absolutely LOVE the Historian! The cocktails are incredible, especially if you like a good old fashioned, you have to try the Transatlantic. The food is divine, Michael does an incredible job with the menu. The whipped feta and bread is quite possibly our most favorite appetizer ever. HIGHLY recommend!!
Our visit to the Historian this evening was fantastic. I wanted to take my fiance out for a nice dinner after she was free at 7:45 pm. A friend recommended the restaurant and said it was there favorite in the area that stayed open late.
I called around 5pm and was able to get a same day reservation for 8:30 pm. I mentioned it was going to be a special dinner as it might be the last one we can have together for a few weeks.
