“I love their burgers and the fried chicken sandwich. Onion rings are good as well as the hot pepper cheese balls. I gotta say I think their prices have gotten a little outta hand ($13.95 for just the chicken sandwich NO SIDES INCLUDED) Seems a little steep, but it always hits the spot.“

“Worth the drive from Kalamazoo. I love sitting on the deck, with its stately tree in the middle and gorgeous lakeside views. Last night a friend and I tried The Bacon Jammy (a new burger) and loved it! Yummy mix of flavors, gooey in the best way, with crispy edges on our (medium rare) burger. Wow! Another menu favorite is the Smokestack Sammy. Our server, Shelby, deserves rave reviews too. Thanks for the love, Vickers’ Lakeside Tavern!“

“Great fried foods, nice little dive bar. Somewhat out of the way but it’s a staple. To be honest, I’ve gone there a handful of times in the last 10 years and the staff hasn’t been the friendliest or most attentive. Other patrons aren’t super friendly either, which is why I usually order take out. Drinks are average prices. Overall, the food makes it worth the take out order. Get the olive burger and mushrooms!“

“I have had a little trouble figuring out how to leave a review but I am passionate about sharing how wonderful Zeb’s is. The food is excellent, I have tried most everything! The service is the best! “We have eaten here twice now (once carry-out, once dine-in). The food was great both times, and when we dined in the service was friendly and prompt. (I did not pick up the carry-out order, so I don't know about service that time. My bet is that they were just as friendly and quick.) Definitely will be back, definitely recommend.“
