We had our son’s birthday party here and it was wonderful and every detail was covered. We also just finished a summer circus themed camp and it was AMAZING!!! Face-painting, magic, balloon animals, crafts, and lots of play time. Our favorite was the follow up personalized email a week later with so many cute pictures of our kid at camp. Thank you!!!!”

“The staff is amazing, friendly, and accommodating. Pricing is to die for. In this economy its refreshing to find somewhere to eat out at a reasonable price. Our party of four spent lest than $50 bucks. 🤯 I highly recommend everyone to at least check them out once. Food was delivered to our table in a timely manner and the atmosphere is very down home. “Butler's has the vibe that it's been here for decades even though its only a couple years old. The food is good and the portions are big. We had blueberry lemon curd pancakes and the club Benedict. Both were excellent! Service was great and attentive and the prices were affordable.”

“Myself and husband decided to stop here for the 1st time tonight can't believe we waited so long we got the prime rib baked potato side salad and fried mushrooms it was so good and so much food plus 2 drinks for 62 bucks 😋 will definitely go back gotta try the patty melt and some of the other stuff for sure the waitress was great also I like not being bothered every couple of minutes and that's exactly how it went she came by every 5 to 10 minutes instead of every 2 lol 😊”

“Food is delicious, takeout orders frequently wrong. This is the best food in Kalamazoo, but they’ve gotten my takeout order wrong five times in just 2025. This is nothing new for this place as I’ve been coming since 2013 and I’ve had so many mix ups. The workers are polite and friendly, and everything is always delicious. Would recommend you eat in person.”

“The beer is very good & the bartender was friendly & knowledgeable about the different beer. It was a calm Sunday which made it enjoyable. They do a lot for charities too which makes it more of an incentive to visit. I love the food trucks parked there. Pudgy Panda was delicious.”

“I have been to Mexico twice and love authentic Mexican much more than typical American Mexican food. Honestly this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Took my business partner, we both ordered steak street tacos. The corn shells are perfection, the hot sauce has a nice kick and a great flavor, the green sauce was very good as well. The chips were amazing, salsa very good, and all under $20. We will be back often! 5 star”

“Honestly...my experience here had nothing 2 do with food... shooting pool which is fun...but I had the pleasure of meeting the owner & got a complete rundown on him & the story behind Lamplighter...such an awesome guy...stop by & offer 2 help him finish his dream of finishing the Lamplighter... he's also 80...has a tendency 2 fall..but keep on working on the Lamplighter ??...I had the pleasure of helping him & learning the history behind the Lamplighter from the beginning 2 now...????”

“my husband and I and my sister was just there Thursday 3/22/23 and the food was better than I remembered and the coffee was fantastic im glad they had French vanilla creamer, my sister and I got the French toast with a side of ham and it was fantastic my husband got eggs, hashbrowns , toast , bacon and ham the service was fantastic as well .. I would definitely recommend this place 10/10”
