Our party of four spent lest than $50 bucks. 🤯 I highly recommend everyone to at least check them out once. Food was delivered to our table in a timely manner and the atmosphere is very down home. “We just have to say that the new owners really go above and beyond to create amazing experiences for the kids and community. We had our son’s birthday party here and it was wonderful and every detail was covered. We also just finished a summer circus themed camp and it was AMAZING!!! Face-painting, magic, balloon animals, crafts, and lots of play time. Our favorite was the follow up personalized email a week later with so many cute pictures of our kid at camp. Thank you!!!!”

“Food is delicious, takeout orders frequently wrong. This is the best food in Kalamazoo, but they’ve gotten my takeout order wrong five times in just 2025. This is nothing new for this place as I’ve been coming since 2013 and I’ve had so many mix ups. The workers are polite and friendly, and everything is always delicious. Would recommend you eat in person.”

“This was my first time experiencing The Rooster’s Call on Gull Road and it was nothing short of amazing in every way. I enjoyed the Western omelette and it was evident that fresh ingredients were used. It was the BEST omelette I have ever eaten in a restaurant. My server, Mady, was very attentive and friendly with me and all she interacted with. And finally, it has a very open, laid-back atmosphere while still maintaining professionalism. It is clear many people have become regulars because of their caring environment. I will be back! 👍🏻😃”

“I have been to Mexico twice and love authentic Mexican much more than typical American Mexican food. Honestly this is the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. Took my business partner, we both ordered steak street tacos. The corn shells are perfection, the hot sauce has a nice kick and a great flavor, the green sauce was very good as well. The chips were amazing, salsa very good, and all under $20. We will be back often! 5 star”

“Great fried foods, nice little dive bar. Somewhat out of the way but it’s a staple. To be honest, I’ve gone there a handful of times in the last 10 years and the staff hasn’t been the friendliest or most attentive. Other patrons aren’t super friendly either, which is why I usually order take out. Drinks are average prices. Overall, the food makes it worth the take out order. Get the olive burger and mushrooms!”
