“I LOVE this small business and the coffee is amazing! I’ve never had any big issues with the service, only a few bad attitudes here and there. I get it, I used to work customer service so I don’t usually take much to heart. This morning was different because I finally mustered up the courage to ask the owner a question (big mistake). I am new to the reward system and haven’t been receiving points as usual since the beginning of the July. It WAS connected to the card I use and automatically giving points, but randomly stopped. I let it go for a few weeks due to having anxiety and not wanting to bother anyone. Today I kindly asked how it worked and I got “you have to sign in, it’s not my responsibility to do it for you” *que the condescending tone*. This really threw me off as I have always been kind and received kindness from the owner. I felt defeated and embarrassed. I sat in my car for a few minutes panicking and wondering what I did wrong. Those who don’t suffer from anxiety may never understand, but please just be kind. I will continue to support this business, and there is no animosity. You never know what people are going through and something small for you can be really big for others.“
