“If you would rather spend your money in a Mom n Pop's store this is the place .Turns out she knew my father ( she recognized my last name on the Debit card) so we struck up a 10 minute conversation.The Deli sandwich was excellent.The Owner ( Mary ) is very pleasant .I'll be dropping in again next time I get in the neighborhood.You don't get that kind of experience at a big box store.“

“I was craving pizza and knew I didn’t want chain pizza. I decided to order here for the first time and wow. Everything was fantastic. The “plain” breadsticks are loaded with Parmesan and so fluffy. (YUM!) The pizza was cooked perfectly and had lots of toppings. Lastly, the ranch. I really do judge a place by their ranch and theirs is a 10/10. Workers were super nice as well. Will definitely return!!“

A blink and you'll miss it small-town location, that just happens to offer cuisine that rivals any of the big city bistros.Started off with a delicious Italian Margarita.Appetizer options are wonderful. Though I'm not personally a fried cheese person, the wife loved the fried mozzarella.Sicilian breadsticks were delicious.Even the dinner salad was excellent, as I upgraded to the Ceasar.Our enterees were spectacular. I had the Lobster Ravioli, whike the wife chose Manicotti...I sampled it and it is amazing.There was plenty of food to take home, and we had pass on dessert.The experience is topped off with an excellent, friendly staff and a comfortable atmosphere, where even the music contributes to the experience.“

“I am in town for an annual training seminar, discovered this place three years ago and have been back every year since. The pizza is delicious and reasonably priced, the staff is helpful and friendly, and the dining room appears well-kept and comfortable. Happy to support a local business over a national chain, and this place definitely does not disappoint.Vegetarian options: There is an extensive selection of non-meat options for your pizza; I am a tomato-mushroom-onion person myself. Also appreciate having both canned or fresh mushroom options; they are both good, but sometimes you just want one or the other, and it's nice to have the choice.Parking: There is on-street parking, as well as a municipal parking lot right across the street. As of April, 2024, there is extensive construction in the area, but still easy enough to find a place nearby to park.“

“Never have a bad experience at hunters! My only complaint is the bread knots used to be my favorite things in the whole world. Now they seem to be frozen before they're cooked? Because they're SUPER hard to chew. I miss the soft ones I used to get ?“

“The pixie is a great throw back 50’s style diner and has been a part of Mt. Pleasant’s restaurant scene for over 70 years. Well known for their coney dogs and bitty burgers, the walls in the dining area are plastered with plaques attesting to their popularity- east 6 conies or 8. Itty burgers in an hour and get your plaque on the wall. Their fries and onion rings are some of the best you will find. The stag was extremely friendly and helpful, however it’s clear the Pixie suffers from the same problem most restaurants have today - lack of sufficient staff. Our wait was about double what we have experienced in the past years and there were only a handful of diners this night. All in all I still highly recommend the Pixie for conies and burgers, diner style.“

“We were traveling and staying at a nearby Harvest Host location. We ordered by phone with a very friendly fellow and picked up our pizza and salads to take back to our camper. Pizza and salads were both excellent. Plenty of good sauce and cheese on the pizza and the salad had lots of fresh toppings and were a nice size. Would definitely recommend!“

“Service was great, love Hungry Howies but so expensive, not just here...all locations it seems. Wanted to try the Mac and cheese pizza, wasn't that great to us just seemed like it had been sitting but all the other pizza was good. Hungry Howies does have the best butter garlic crust!“

“Me and my sister love coming here when we're in Alma! We used to do the fast food stores but then discovered this place. The workers are super friendly and the food is the Best I've ever had! When u drive up, it looks kinda iffy. I get the Italian Cheese Bread and my sister gets the bread sticks. I'm telling u, they are hands down the best ever!“

“Cabin Sticks!! They are so good and i alos love the pizza from the cabin. I don't think I've never had a bad drink nor a bad time at the cabin. Karaoke is always a blast as well. If you're in Mt Pleasant and on the Central Michigan campus this is a must stop for a late night dinner! Love it here!“
