“My wife and I were traveling through Kalkaska with our 8 pound Chiweenie. We found Moose and Stella’s on Bring Fido and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent as well as the service. On top of that, they were very accommodating to our puppy. I highly recommend!”

“I have been ordering olive burgers for years now. Every time I go to Kalkasa. Last Friday myself and three friends all had burgers. The meat pattie was not the usual. It looked like something from Gordon’s or Sam’s. Tasteless. I can get a better tasting burger at a chain restaurant. For the price I expect a burger like the ones (3) I had every time before. Next time I’ll ask if they’re still using the same crappy meat I had last time I was in. If so, then I guess I’ll order some appetizers for dinner. Hard to screw that up! 🫰🏻”

“We got here just in time. Had the pizza, a salad and some stuffed tater tots. The waitress was very funny and engaging. Staff and customers were very welcoming and everyone seemed to want to chat. There was one strange fellow who seemed to think he kept seeing unicorns, but we just ignored him.
Overall, this was a slam dunk selection, and I am so glad we made it in time. We have been all around the world and have never found staff more accommodating then the people who work at the Upper Bar and Grill.”

“Came in just before close tonight. I had a trailer that would not fit through the drive through. I tried to order on foot the staff Informed me that was a hazard and not possible. They allowed me to make a phone call to them.Order my food and brought it to me at the front door. This all happened minutes before the store closed. Appreciate top notch customer service im a long ways from home and there was nothing to eat anywhere nearby.”

Excellent music, excellent atmosphere! Definitely a great place for a birthday party or work event.

I only gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because their pesto bowl was a little sparce. I could have gone for a little more than that! We had a fair amount of bread left after the pesto ran dry.

Eta 6/8/25 service was so slow some girl before me was waiting at least 15 minutes (after I walked in the door) for 3 ice cream cones another guy was waiting for that long before being waited on. I waited for at least 25 minutes for food I ordered at the kiosk. Saw several cars come and go from the drive thru, though. Apparently, their focus was on them, not the people inside.”
