What a wonderful surprise to stumble across this absolutely dynamite Thai restaurant. I ordered the House Special (S3, medium spicy. It was DELICIOUS AND PERFECT! Wow! I was blown away. I highly recommend this place. Ten stars.
Bangkok Hung is a little gem in Southfield, worth for recommendations.
With the bird cage hanging lamps, the interior is fairly Thai, like it !
Ordered their Pad Thai, when it was served, I saw beef cooked in Pad Thai sauce on top of pre-cooked noodles, was a bit wondering when I have my first bite, but you know what, it tasted pretty good, though without the heat of stir fried, but it has its own unique taste in the good way.

While waiting, I used the restroom. Paper towel dispenser out of order. It got my thinking. When I returned to the dining area I noticed several other things. Tape on the edges of tables. Worn seating surfaces. Miscellaneous little things that added up, a definite need repair or replace that conveyed a sense of the place being run down.
