I came back lunch after over a year. The food was ok. I got grilled chicken wings that were really good just a tad bit salty, but no sauce needed. I also got black eyed peas which were ok on tge flavor, good on the texture. I ordered dressing without gravy, ok tasting dressing, not bad at all. I like the comfy booths in the restaurant. Service was alright
It's just mid...macaroni cheese not good at all. As a soul food restaurant, the mac&cheese has to be on point. Fans make you uncomfortable too much h air with AC. I really wanted to LOVE it. But I don't really have to go again.
I used to love coming here just because the atmosphere was very warm, friendly and family oriented. The customer service here SUCKS now, which is unfortunate because for quite some time this was one of the only black-owned businesses that had both great customer service and great food!
