“The person I talked too over the phone was extremely friendly and welcoming. Once I got home the food was awesome I ordered a meatloaf dinner. I felt so bad I didn't leave a tip for her because I hate leaving tips on my card. I will return tomorrow specially for her to show my gratification. I will return for more items on there menu!“

“Been coming here since the 90s when I was a kid. Recently bought by the mi pueblo restaurant family. They retained the same staff and atmosphere but updated the entire place giving it a more clean and nice place to be without losing its charm.“

“I eat here fairly regularly. Especially breakfast. The best veggie omelet I've ever had. Coffee comes fast and often. They know my name (and I know theirs too). Good prices and they never rush me. Just wish they were open earlier and later.“

“It was my first time visiting Tim’s Coney Island in Southfield this past Saturday with my kids and our church youth group, about a dozen of us in total. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were great, and the prices were very reasonable—our bill came out to about $10 each. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our experience even better. We all left satisfied, and I can honestly say this will not be our last visit. Definitely looking forward to going back soon!“

“Veal Parm was soo good, sweeter sauce but not super sweet, I had extra cheese cuz why not. Veggie and the cream of broccoli soups were good and the fried zucchini was great. The veal in the dish wasn't a processed patty but actually veal...would recommend. Hubs had lasagna, thought it was ok, liked that they used ricotta and cottage cheese...he still likes mine better...for those that are anti-green pepper in tomato sauces, this had zero, which I liked...would definitely recommend the veal parm and the zucchini, can't speak for the hubs...and the lasagna but it sounded like he'd get it again, he was really wanting the Swedish meatballs and they were out“

“My family and I stopped here today, during an outing along the surrounding two lakes and river. What a great atmosphere as soon as we walked through the doors - the staff all greeted us with big smiles. All of the servers were amazing, especially towards my 16 month old grandson. I will absolutely say this is a family friendly restaurant, with fantastic homestyle meals - we ordered the fish tacos, broasted chicken, quesadilla, and kid's chocolate chip pancakes. With such a good experience, we will definitely return to explore more from their menu. Thanks Mealtime Express!!“

“We went for dinner on a weeknight it wasn't super busy. Our food was all very good. The mashed potatoes were very smooth and buttery. The fried walleye came out hot and flaky as did the country fried steak. Soup was good and we grabbed dessert to take home and enjoy later since we were to full to eat it there. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience and we will be back.“

Pot roast is typically really good, meat was tough this time and carrots raw in the center. Omelette was runny and little filling. Typically not like this when we eat here .
