What a lovely and beautifully decorated restaurant, on the water, in St. Clair Shores, MI. We loved the variety of meals available and each of them were wonderfully prepared! Also, Laura, the restaurant manager, made sure that our dining experience exceeded our utmost expectations! We will certainly come back again!
My visit to Hook on September 21 was a bit disappointing. The the restaurant looks really nice and the service was pretty good, The food was subpar. The breading on my steak from the Italian menu was dry and burnt. The meat under the breading did not have much flavor. The greens with the plate were a bit wilted and over-drenched with oil. My long time friends/sisters had dinner here and it was more of an experience than just a meal! First, we sat at the chefs table and let me just say I’m not sure which I enjoyed more, the chef or the treat! The chef was fun, witty and engaging. The food was ever so delicious!
